This worked great in my hallway where I had one.

This worked great in my entryway where a ceramic light fixture was protruding from the wall. I bought Hyperikon 100w LED bulbs which light up the laundry where I need it!

    I love this product

I love this product. This helps me position the light around the corner of my driveway. Otherwise I would have had to install another lamp. The light converter and lamp are quite heavy so I put a plastic band around the light converter cylinder and attached the band to my house eve.

Do not buy, risk of fire. Melted in 2 weeks.

I used to have a kit like this that lasted 4 years. I replaced them with a new set using the same bulbs 2 weeks ago and they lasted 2 weeks before the plastic in the installed bulb melted and both stopped working. The bulbs I use are 75 watts. I wouldn't buy these unless you use LED bulbs.

Turn your sunken nipples into museum nipples

Works great make sure you have the right nipple size but almost all work well. Also: do not twist the lightbulb. Aside from that, you can use your hand to twist and turn the spotlight to highlight pretty much anything you want. I've been using it for a few months and haven't had any problems at all. Ideal for deep recessed sockets in the basement. They highlight items in frames on the wall. Very satisfied.

Ideal as a garage socket extension

In our new house there is only one socket in the garage. Worse, it sits directly behind a support beam, so one half of the garage gets little light while the other half is constantly in shadow. I bought this 1x4 socket converter and attachment and used four equivalent 60w LED bulbs to create a much brighter light source hanging under the support beam and lighting all parts of the garage really well.

Ideal - when you need it.

I have a double back staircase in a two storey house that has an on/off light switch at each end and a recessed pot shaped light at the top center of the staircase. Ceiling. Tried a motion-sensing night light on the middle heel, which worked fairly well, except the light often popped out of the wall when someone was carrying something up or down. Light switches with motion sensors at each end would work, but couldn't limit them to just the first step at the top or bottom of the stairs, so the…
