Great product, EXTREMELY STICKY. Wet fingertips help

I used this to hemm a polyester rag when I cut it short. Definitely sticky so every time I touched the strips I licked my fingers first to avoid getting stuck on the glue. Went like clockwork!

    Pros
    • Holds securely when washed and dried
    Cons
    • Boring packaging

You have one chance to get it right. only one

When hemming pants, you only get one chance to get it right. The adhesive used in these strips is SUPER STICKY, sticky and stretchy. Once he touches the fabric, he goes where he goes, right or wrong. Back to needle and thread for me. You won't find a free lunch here.

    • Versatile and suitable for other fabric projects

    Waste of time and money

Very bad product, unusable. Doesn't stick to anything but your fingers and it's a mess. I fall back to an old iron or (sigh!) sew things myself. I've been sewing pants myself since I was 13 in the 60's so have experience with other pieces. Also, forget about hemming products made of glue. They work, but they stain your clothes like hell. JDP

    Pros
    • Reliable on cold wash and drying program at low temperature
    Cons
    • Wait too long

    Don't Fight

Sticky Fingers! As everyone says it's true if you want to glue your fingers together it's 5 stars but it doesn't work at all on polyester pants. I tried it because it was cheap but very difficult to work with. The sticky stuff didn't stick well for 1/2 of my uses. When you peel off the brown cover paper, it usually takes half or more of the sticky goo with it. Can't imagine it won't wash out so I may have to sew whether I like it or not. I cannot, in good faith, recommend this.

Use Goo Gone Glue Remover if you messed up that great hem glue.

This hem glue works well. I use it on new pants with a 31 inseam and no one seems to be selling it on the shelves. Also, I'm the most impatient do-it-yourselfer I know and have been taping a cuff on the side of my left leg for the past two months. I simply used Goo Gone Adhesive Remover ($8 for an 8-ounce bottle at Revain) to dampen the general area, waited 15 seconds, and then scraped it off with a flat knife. This is very easy with most heavy, thick fabrics like this. for the manufacture of…

    Must be for petite people

I used to buy these from Rite Aid but they don't sell them anymore. So happy to find them at Revain and happily bought two packs! I'm small and like to buy second hand, which means all my pants need to be hemmed. I can't sew by hand or machine so it saves me a lot of time. I only wash my pants in cold water so the tape at the hem really holds. I will continue to buy them. Just keep a spray bottle of water nearby as you apply and keep your fingertips wet as they are very sticky!

    Surprisingly good

I usually use hot melt tape for hemming curtains but I've bought some curtains that melt before the tape gets hot enough to stick so I decided to tape it to attempt. Wonderful! It's not really duct tape, it's a strip of tape that sticks very strong but is easy to remove to troubleshoot problems. The consistency is like chewing gum that keeps the cardboard labels in the cookware when you buy it - totally sticky but comes off easily and curls up into a sticky ball. I will never return! It's much…

    Great great product

Wow! I'm so glad I found this. At the moment I can only talk about the use of the product. At the moment I was wearing little things and not washing them. I mostly buy clothes at second-hand shops. If jeans are too long, I just cut them off. I spent a lot of money and bought two pairs of Fjällräven canvas trousers for my upcoming trip. Although they were called "short", they were too long. I hesitated to cut them. This product worked great but there are a few things to note: 1) After the strips

    Pros
    • Easy to use
    Cons
    • Big and bulky
