Enhance Fish Health with Seachem StressGuard Slime Coat Protection Review

This product is great! The fish pictured was very stressed and very sick but I used the product on the recommendation of the Betta group and now use it in all my tanks for water changes and especially new fish!

This seems to have increased my acclimatization success rate and I think it's worth every penny. I use it 3 days after adding new fish and 1 day after a big clean or water change and everyone has been happy. Used it with fish, live plants and inverts and all are great.

StressGuard can be used with other medicines (as long as they do not contain copper) to restore health to fish after illness/injury or during stressful times such as transport. If necessary, it can be used once a day. I use it along with ParaGuard for my betta recovering from fin rot. Together, the foods seem to make him healthier than without them.

This Seachem product has proven to me once again that it definitely works. I had a pygmy gourami with a couple of open sores and noticed a big difference after a few days and used it when introducing my Blue & Red Columbia tetras. The great thing about this product is that you can use it when adding new fish or when you see cuts on your body, it acts as a natural liquid bandage and I would definitely recommend this stressguard.

I had a sick Goldie. He came in with a bunch of goldfish from the local pet store. Everyone else was fine, but not this child. So I tried treating him with antifungals first and then antiparasitics. He'll get better, and then he'll start looking like frayed fins. He's alone in the hospital tank. I started using StressGuard on him and he got better and better. I haven't dosed him at all for 2 weeks and he's really growing! I think he's ready to reunite with his friends!

I bought Stress Guard in addition to my Sea Chem Prime when I changed the water so that the fish in our tank are not stressed. I have bought this product several times and love it, it works wonders for my *very excited* cockfish who regularly bites off chunks of his tail, seemingly no cause. I usually buy from Amazon as there aren't any pet stores near me that have Anti-Stressguard. On arrival however the seal was broken and it was leaking and drying all over the side of the bottle (sometimes it turns green as it dries so the color on the side of the bottle doesn't matter) but on further inspection there was none dried
