Best I have ever used, great product for anyone!

In short, I grabbed such a screw for 1 thousand on ebay ! June 24, 2022 Screw circa 2022. Smart and tests like new! More precisely, new disks have more slow sectors than on my disk! it passed almost 12 thousand hours, this is about a year of continuous work. Speed smart, SATA3 and 7200 speed, just fire! Start stops are also too much, but it's not scary ! Formatted the HDD Low Level Format Tool with a low-level format (I advise everyone) I made a GPT table (I also advise everyone to make this…

Pros
  • - bomb speed! -SATA3 - no noise at all! - Does not heat up from the word at all - cheap price on the secondary (if you look) - I took it from my hands for 1 thousand ! June 24, 2022! (see photos attached tests) ran almost 12.000 hours and better than new! - 7200 - firmware latest CC27 - year approximately 2022 of purchase in the store by the previous owner . - not killed screw! And then we'll see.
Cons
  • If you load it with a torrent, the file is garbage and crooked Windows + a buggy computer + bad power (always see the power in AIDA there should be 12 or more volts) In short, if you do not follow, then there will definitely be data transfer errors, etc. . But it's not scary! Preferably a good new SATA cable

Terrible product, not worth your money absolutely!

Seagate quality has been dropping in recent years. I remember frankly unsuccessful series with a CC error. I will never buy Seagate again. A completely unpredictable crash from 100% SMART is the last straw.

Cons
  • Died suddenly with 100% in SMART. Just during the game, he passed out and began to click his head. Diagnostics showed that the controller became friendly with the head unit "FAIL Servo 0p=0100 Resp=0007". I tried to change the controller to a similar one with Ali, throwing the BIOS, it did not help. Obviously you need to change the BMG. I have no idea where to get BMG.

Disgusting, dissatisfied with the purchase.

Was in an external HDD Seagate Expansion Portable Drive 2 TB. There are several disks (5-3-2-1.5-2-2 TB) and I usually used it without fanaticism. Basically, all disks were used for storage. There is a lot of music of all directions, and when you edit, you try to shove it separately so as not to confuse, for this, a disc was bought by a specialist to roll up musical genres on it. But a year and a week or three weeks pass, the warranty is over and something decided to check the temperature of…

Pros
  • Convenient volume of 2 TB (for music).
Cons
  • Lifetime.

Upset and disappointed, the product is very bad!

About 3 months before his death, the bios began to swear at smart. I launched the software from seagate - I confirmed the error, but I could not offer anything good in terms of fixing it. After a while, the screw stopped spinning altogether and was recognized in the BIOS. Passed under warranty (changed to WD).

The best thing for the money, I'm glad I chose this option.

took ~3 years ago and all this time he works under torrents. worked 20533 hours without problems. /has already worked more than 30,000 hours died on 10202222 for ~32k hours Got pros: quiet. heats up weakly (35 degrees under load). was roomy when I took it. connected and working flawlessly Has cons: after a long period of inactivity, when accessing the disk, you can hear a click /clicks disappeared after firmware ate. so now from the shortcomings-small capacity

A terrible product, not worth your money absolutely!

Maybe just unlucky, but something is very often unlucky with seagate models of the lower price range. Decently heated, during the year a significant part dies irrevocably. Has pros: Capacity and price, if they matter against the backdrop of an archival drawback. Its cons: Worked in a video recorder. Suffered from overheating, died suddenly after a year of use.

Nothing unusual, normal product.

It was covered in 8 months, there were no complaints about the previous Seagate drives and there are no, they are still plowing . I bought a similar one, passed it under warranty, let's see what happens, but for now Seagate is disappointed. Just in case, and for comparison, I'll take the WD20EFRX.

Unsuitable product, not worth the money.

This disk is suitable for office non-stressful work, NOT for gaming PCs, it was in a computer for toys, the system is separate on SDD, played often, the disk died after 1.2 years of work, for games I think it's better to take WD RED or BLUE

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

I've been using it for half a year and it works well. If someone breaks, then this only means that a marriage has been caught, and this happens in any manufacturer. 04/19/2022: One of the drives, bought 5 years ago, today reported the appearance of bad sectors. At the moment, the "mileage" of the disk is 16680 hours, 19.5 TB of recorded data. I continue to watch.

What did I pay for? The product is a complete failure.

Firmware CC9H. Worked out the warranty period and died suddenly. Thanks to CrystalDiskInfo for the timely warning - I managed to merge the files from this poor fellow. The quality of Seagate budget drives has fallen below the plinth. We will choose other manufacturers.

Matches the description completely, very satisfied.

I read the reviews and decided to write my own. I have ST2022VX000-1CU164, Serial: Z1E6V93W, Firmware: CV22. No clicking, no overheating. no spilling sectors. By the way, there is no new firmware for my version - it's probably just not needed. normal screw.

Never buy this product.

Wasted money. Dies for sure. Judging by the reviews - the service life does not exceed 2-3 years. Died. I barely managed to merge all the necessary information on new disks. Friends dragged several computers with the same disks - all dying. Different pros: At the time of purchase it was favorable in terms of price / volume Cons: Dies after the warranty period. Problems started 2.5 years after the start of use, now 3.5 years - it is pouring every day with new bads.

It is of good quality, but I won't buy it again.

It's been 1 day of use so far. I am satisfied with the disk, I use it for storing movies. My file copying speed was on average 100-140MB / s (at the beginning 200-250), I don’t know if the speed was high or low, it was just copying from older disks.
