The purchase brought only positive emotions.

On Win 10 got up immediately without problems. Win 7 was not without headaches. The device was not recognized in File Explorer or Disk Management. In device manager it was reflected in storage device controllers instead of disk devices as a "SCSI device". Updating USB drivers didnt help. Posherstil the Internet and did not really find an answer, everywhere they sin either on a conflict of devices in disk management, or on an exclamation mark in the dispatcher (in fact it was not), or on…

Pros
  • - Good speed for HDD: max 130 MB/s, in fact the average is around 80-90 MB/s. I am attaching screenshots. Several thousand photos of 130 GB were uploaded in 30 minutes. Norm. - Stylish, pleasing to the eye. - Liked the quick response from Seagate support on the issue mentioned in the comments.
Cons
  • - It heats up quite noticeably under prolonged load. Not critical, but still. - Feels fragile. Bought the case right away. In any case, it will be needed during transportation. - Not that noisy, but the buzzing in the silence is audible. Not a minus for me. When you are doing business or listening to something, you do not notice.

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

She took on the role of a media carrier for films. I connect it to the TV set in the bedroom, I watch cartoons in the childrens room and TV shows in the kitchen. That is, I constantly drag it from place to place. Different TVs read it perfectly, for me there is a question of a high-quality port so that nothing comes loose, after a month of active operation everything is OK, I hope it will continue like this.

The product is of good quality, there is only one minor defect.

I must say right away that the disc is excellent, it works for five plus. I work in production, and I use a disk with a working computer, in addition, I carry it around the workshop. I thought that aluminum would be more stable, but the surface began to rub off and more and more scratches appear on it. The conditions of use are, of course, extreme for a disk, but still, it would probably be better to take a completely plastic HDD.

The best thing Ive ever used, a great item for everyone!

For the money, its very cool, 1 TB external hard drive from a well-known manufacturer. I have a smaller capacity hard drive on my computer. I store movies, games, photos and everything else at home. Documents too, I do not trust any cloud storages. I often connect to the TV, everything is recognized adequately. It is convenient to carry with you, a miniature box, will fit into any bag and briefcase.
