increases comfort in a multiple PC environment

I am using this as a secondary monitor with a USB wireless keyboard/mouse attached. to buy it. Another KVM switch I tested at this price required a USB input cable separate from VGA, while this one already has a USB cable built into VGA on one end. durable, I can squeeze the frame body and it responds like I changed the channel. This doesn't happen often, but it does when I try to unplug the VGA cable. Another thing is that it doesn't support auto detect function. It cannot detect which device…

Savior! good for computers and accessories

Love this device! My company sent us to work from home early in the coronavirus pandemic, so I had to find a way to put two computers on the same desk. I had a dual port monitor so it was fine, but I had two keyboards, mice and desktops. Not only that, but in order to switch between computers, I had to turn each one off to use the other. This switch eliminated the need for redundant hardware. My wireless keyboard and mouse buttons are connected to it so I can use them on both computers. Also, I

Works great, instructions missing

This little device works perfectly. In this case. Two VGA cables are included with the device. One end is a regular VGA connector, the other end has a VGA connector and a USB connector. The instructions do not indicate which end goes into the computer and which end goes into the junction box. Of course, the USB cable end goes into the computer, but should we assume that everyone knows that? I'm not surprised that this little bit of extra information wasn't included in the instructions, I've…

Video quality downgraded

Good price and delivery on time. Your ONE VGA monitor/display cable connects to this KVM switch. . (It has 3 USB inputs) Two cables are included. Two cables are also connected to the KVM switch. The other end of each cable is a standard VGA/USB connector. Connect the VGA and USB connectors of the first cable to Computer A. Do the same for computer B with the second cable. Turn on both computers. The KVM switch has an A/B button. Clicking it will switch between the two computers. But you only…

UPDATE Computers & Accessories

I'm changing my original rating to 1 star. Port 1 stopped working after 3 months, along with the USB slots. It also burned the USB dongle for my wireless keyboard and mouse. The switch worked perfectly right away. It works with Linux. I'm using Linux Mint, but I'm pretty sure it will work on any other Linux OS. The only thing that bothered me is that the cables are short. I had to buy a longer cable for one of my more distant PCs. Here is a link to a longer cable I bought…

Best Saving of the Day on External Components

I'm very tired of switching cables and various wireless USBs between my work laptop and PC now that I'm working from home (only room for one monitor). For $20 I now have both devices, a monitor, printer and remote keyboard/mouse connected across it and I can switch between them with a click. The quality of the video has slightly deteriorated thanks to the new device, but that's hardly enough to notice. At the moment he's one of my best places here. If I have issues with durability I'll go back…
