high quality hair trap

great find for under $5! I have an old house and the smallest strand of hair clogs the drain. The little lid has slipped over my drain and the basket feels really secure. Installation is easy and to empty the trash all I have to do is remove the middle! Simple enough that anyone in the house can do it. The sink also came with 3 removable baskets.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons

Large Shower Siphon

After clogging a decent sized shower we started using these little baskets to collect hair and soap before we had to deal with another big clog. At such a low price, we simply replace/recycle one for the other (but if you have the patience and a strong stomach, you can definitely clean and reuse them). Installation in the sewer is as quick as removing the metal cover and lowering it inside. We will definitely keep using them forever!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost OK

Good work! I'm glad they are!

They may be awkward to remove and replace, but this is proof these little ones aren't going down the drain! Even with very short hair I was surprised at how much it had gone by the time I started growing it out, I was even happier with it. Another plus is that a few years ago the earring fell off and went down the drain. With them, that will never be a problem again. So glad to find this drain and to be able to just replace these filters instead of trying to clean and reuse them.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Empty

Serious. YOU NEED THIS

I originally bought a Danco shower drain catcher when we moved into our new home. Since there are 4 girls (and a big dog) living in our house, the trap fills up pretty quickly. For a long time I haphazardly cleaned the filter, and then returned it to the trap again. In the end it just got annoying. I was so happy to find these replacement kits at Revain. A quick rip off the old one and it goes in the bin, then strap on the new one and you're back in the shower!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Some bugs

Simple effective design!

It seems to collect all the hair before it clogs my old pipes. I've been using them for over a year now and I highly recommend them. I learned a trick so you don't have to buy replacement baskets as often. Clean the basket by rinsing it from the outside, then use tweezers (tweezers/fingers) to pull out the hair from the inside. When I try to just get it dry it's frustrating! Another tip: white is the easiest to keep clean, but I have silver and it gets cleaned every time to look like new…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities

No clogged drains for kitchen and bathroom faucets

I use this in my master bathroom (sorry, master bathroom - not for anyone with the word master). I usually buy this from one of these big stores but lately everything has been blocked and I didn't want to run out on an item, I ordered them from Revain. Much better here. As soon as I notice that the shower is draining a little more slowly, I pull out the drain, put on a new basket and throw the old one in the trash can. It's a bit uncomfortable when you can wrap your hair around it, but it's…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Some small touches

Works with limitations

It catches hair and is tough so if you step on it it won't go down the drain like soft plastic baskets. The soft baskets deform at the edges of After Time and hair begins to slip under their edges. It's not like this. However, when I take the basket out to clean it, there isn't as much hair in it as one might expect. Therefore, I hold it the same as when using plastic baskets with deformed edges. But I will continue to use it because I don't see any other product on the market that works as…

Pros
  • It's amazing
Cons
  • Tight manual

Please never stop this article!

We have been purchasing these for our master shower for a number of years and they work exceptionally well. For the price, I clean every 2-4 times until I can't clean easily anymore, then throw out and put in a new one (they come in a 3 pack so you can really test them). I also order to have extras on hand. Tip: I removed the existing satin nickel drain cap (screw cap) and replaced it with a Danco product. Although the Dance is made of chrome/stainless steel, the difference in the metal finish…

My shower drain is no longer a problem.

Oh my god, this product saves lives! I used to have major drain issues in my master bathroom shower. I actually bought a drain snake because it's absurdly expensive to call a plumber to clean my drain every 2 months. Then I got wiser and started using a variety of shower filter products. Most of these products are unsightly, and all of them, including this one, require you to remove whatever you have to unclog the drain and put the filter back in place. Voila! I don't have to squirm my pipes…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Minor issues
