Platinum Plated Handcrafted Silver Clover Cufflinks Review

My daughter is married to a college president; he's an oxford PhD, really cool guy. I gave him a set of these cufflinks last Christmas and he seemed impressed and really liked the gift (but he's so nice I'd never know if he didn't like them). Anyway, I own about 25 cufflinks myself and I think they are beautiful, silver and gold colored so they can be worn with many jewelry styles. They are very well made and quite "heavy". I would buy a pair but my box of cufflinks is full. . .

This product is my favorite pair of cufflinks. The processing is absolutely excellent. Wearing them will get you lots of compliments. The metal used is strong and offers a good weight and the whale clasp is very nice, feels nice and gently lifts the cufflinks for extra cotton. The gold has a nice shine and although plated it looks like there is a fairly decent amount of gold in the plating, the finish is excellent. Can't say enough good things about these cufflinks. They are absolutely gorgeous, well made, large and delicate. It's about the details. My husband loved her too. So well done! My only problem is that there are no more options, I would like to buy him more styles.

What don't you like? These things are great. I read a review before I bought it where one person complained that it looked cheap. Maybe he caught a pair that wasn't plated properly, or who knows? Mine looks like a million bucks! Excellent product, period.

Well made but looks MUCH richer in the photo than it really is. The photo gives the impression that the pattern contains something similar to an amber crystal, but this is just an illusion of lighting. The entire face is done in a plain polished gold color with no other coloring so it actually looks a lot cheaper than the photo. I didn't think they were worth the money so I sent them back for a refund.

Bought for a wedding. Worn them to another wedding before mine and got several compliments. I ended up ordering a second pair for my best man. If you compare them to department stores, which usually cost around $50, they're a lot better, just a little more expensive. David Yurman has $400+ cufflinks that aren't as cool as these. Good weight and very rich.

Bought for my husband as a Christmas present. They appear to be very durable and of good quality. They are quite thick, which is what I expected and like. The delicate design covers the entire cufflink, even the back, adjacent to the shirt cuff. I appreciate this attention to detail. The only complaint I might have is that the gilding is a little more coppery yellow than the pale yellow gold I was expecting. But my husband loves her and I still love her.
