Love it. Love it. Love this

Love this. Easy to use. I'm a 77 year old grandmother, if I can use it, anyone can. Makes my car very smooth like glass. My car is 17 years old and people think it's almost new. Very proud.

Clay bar for beauty excellence

This clay bar works great. Use some water or I use a detailer spray or spray wax after cleaning and then go over the clay bar until smooth. Wipe it off, apply the wax, remove the wax and after that you will notice a very smooth surface. Your paintwork will look like new again.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • There are some nuances

and it looked like new again

This was my first time using a clay block and it works great! I cut mine into 4 sections so I have a spare for my other machines. It even took the sight of the gritty film that was on the back of my SUV window and made it look brand new again. I never realized how much dirt and grit was in my car paint until I used this product. It even made the car look shiny because it got rid of all those dirt particles.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities

  • Almost never

Works well but takes longer

I first got into clay about 10 years ago and am still impressed with the results. Dead bugs, tree sap, and even oxidation give way to clay. I dropped my last bar on the floor and it picked up chunks of concrete so I had to order another one. too aggressive now :) I wanted to split it into 2 parts but never did. I'll do the same with this one (although I'll probably forget). This is my third pole and I would never consider applying a coat of wax without at least running the pole across…

  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Use one of these before waxing!

I had to knead a lot to get it flexible (think of it as grip exercise) but once I worked it enough in my hands I could use it in 40 degree weather! Ideal for removing stuck sand from paint. The trick with clay bars is to keep the surface moist. I use a pump sprayer designed for pesticide application and mix a little (about 1/4 cup) car wash soap with a gallon of water. Keep spraying the surface to keep it smooth and slippery and the clay block will glide with little effort. One bar was enough…

The best clay bar ever!

Look no further than this clay block. This not only works great, but also lasts a long time. I've been using mine for 2 years now and use it 6 times a year on my car. Don't buy lube, just use distilled water and go through the sections one at a time. I even use it on all exterior car windows. Before using, run your hand over the surface you want to work with clay. You'll feel a light, almost grainy feel. It's what's in your see-through coat. Now spray on distilled water and rub the clay stick…

Long-lasting: Car care

I bought a Simoniz clay bar 4 years ago and treated my car 3 times and my wife 2 times. I only switch because it's dirty. I made the mistake of spraying the front door a little and it ended up in my garage where my car is parked about 10 feet from me. The car trim was overloaded with spraying. I used a detailing spray and my Simoniz clay block and it came off right away. Oh I was afraid it would be forever. Tip: After washing your car (do not dry), wash it again with a clay bar instead of a…

I've used the best clay bars and I keep coming back to Simoniz.

The stuff works. One pole is enough to build two cars if you're careful not to drop it on the ground. The Simoniz brand has always been easy to use and delivers great results. let me share a secret You don't have to buy clay lubricant. Just add some quality outdoor shampoo, also known as a car wash, to the water and voila, you have your own lube. In a pinch, I've even used plain water with no problems. After pasting, be sure to wash again and then polish and apply wax. The clay will remove all…

Wow, works amazing!

Buffalo winters mean salt on the roads, which means contaminants like metallic brake dust get into the paintwork and rust. I've always had dark colored cars so this paint smear never happens like it does now when I have a pearl white Ford Edge Limited. Imagine my sour stomach when I washed my car last winter and found a beautiful, shiny car full of hundreds and hundreds of little orange dots on my car. RUST! These qualities were so etched into the color that at first I thought it was my color…
