So far, so good.

I used this clamp to secure the wheels of a Rubbermaid dustbin to its shaft. Our trash can disposal company is pretty tough when it comes to emptying the trash cans into the truck and then throwing them away. smash them to the ground. When I bought the canister and took it out to clean dirt for the first time, the company threw the new canister so hard that its wheel shifted. It seems that after installing the retaining ring, the whole structure stays in place. Of course, time will tell.

Better than the original, it replaces

I use these on a solid axle food machine. The original had a set screw that just pressed on the surface. It wasn't the best design and failed several times in the field. I kept stopping to tighten it and I didn't always have the right tool. This type of clamp is more secure and requires more effort to keep it from moving. After a season it works perfectly. I see no reason to fail. Even if I refused, I have spare parts because the price was very reasonable.

The most perfect piece I have ever bought.

They fit my 5/8" crusher axle better than I could have imagined, slide on without sticking or play, then tighten snugly without damaging the shaft . Perfect detail, but just in case I sprayed it with Corrosion-X. EDIT: A few months later I started building my own wagon and looked for a similar diameter axle at my local gardening store where I found shaft bushings of that size for $11 each. A few days later it was sandpaper, $9 for 5 sheets. While I think it's important to shop locally, I think…
