Better than expected, worth the money.

How many tripods have I used when they looked amazing on Revain and were of poor quality? I can't even count. When I got this, I was pleasantly surprised. This is more of a tripod than I expected. This is an exceptional product, stable, easy to use and just what I needed. When first opening the box, the tripod is a bit tight, it will take some time to work smoothly, but I'd rather have it than a loose mount or adjustment lever. Round quick release plates are different for me, but so far I think

ABSOLUTELY hard stone.

I'm tired of cheap aluminum tripods, especially for shooting star trails and landscapes. They vibrated, slipped and were unstable. I'm so glad I chose this tripod. It is excellent. It is durable and has many customizations. The legs are very stable, as are all the mechanical adjustments. My only criticisms are: - Too heavy. So be prepared to carry it over your shoulder when dragging it to the shoot. (But its weight gives it stability.) - The "Hockeypuck" removable plate is good, but it's a…

SLIK PRO 700DXQ AMT TRIPOD

Totally durable tripod, don't skimp! Got a 5 lb 3 oz, 23" long Celestron Regal M2 100ED Spotting Scope mounted with the sunshade extended on top. Not entirely sure you could find a better, more stable 8.1 lb tripod to carry a spotting scope with that weight. The total weight between the two. Just under 13 1/2 pounds. I've read reviews about it being heavy, actually reviews about the tripod and scope being heavy. I think "heavy" is everything in the eyes of a brewer when it matters. Read the…

Excellent tripod. Some inaccurate reviews

Yes, it's a really good tripod. Very durable. I don't understand why people complain about the weight. With a small fluid head mounted in the included tripod bag, the total weight is 7.5 pounds. I see old women walking up the hills with 5-10 pounds of bottled water every day. What are you complaining about? My god, a little practice never hurts. I just received my tripod and it had a nylon pouch inside. Many reviews have claimed that the bag is only big enough to fill a tripod and nothing else.

Excellent, durable, adjustable, good fit and finish

I have been a photographer for a long time and have settled for cheaper, lighter tripods over the years. I've just stumbled upon a nice Sony RX10 Mark 4 camera that's a bit heavier than all my previous cameras and I need a really good tripod. This device definitely fits. This isn't a lightweight type of backpack, although you can wear it with an impromptu shoulder and head strap if you want. This is a very well designed and manufactured product with excellent fit and finish. The boy feels…

My only photographic constant

I've had this tripod for about six years now. During that time I switched from the 450D to the 5D Mark IV, from a kit lens to faster zooms and faster primes. I never felt the need to upgrade my tripod. The thing is solidly built. The clips that hold the retractable legs in place are very easy to use. It is extremely practical that I can extend a set completely and then use the center column to lift the camera to eye level for taking pictures. It's also extremely stable. A few years ago I took…
