I was concerned reading other reviews but I am happy to report that the remote control I received turns my TV on and off just like the original. All other functions also work.

This is the second remote control I've ordered for my TV. I returned the first one (another seller) because it didn't work with my TV, but as soon as I put the batteries in, this one worked with my TV. A good and inexpensive replacement for the remote control.

We have an RV with a kitchen next to the TV. Remote control. Both controls work very well. Usually to mute the sound during commercials. We have two remotes in the TV area and two in the bedroom. I bought a third one as a backup in case one goes missing. I use new remotes and my wife has Summit remotes. I can't seem to lose the remote control now! Surprise. I bought this for my son's LE3242 Apex and it works great! I got a little worried when I didn't see any instructions but realized it was already programmed for the apex. I'm glad I didn't have to deal with that. Newer phones don't support RF anymore so this remote was much needed as there is no app.

Have been using this since July 2018 with an Apex TV which I bought new in early 2012. The remote control works great. Never fails even after multiple falls on a hard floor. It has a decent aperture angle of about +/- 20 degrees (how many degrees off target you can point it away from the detector in the TV before it fails). It works at least 20 feet away.
