I like mine - bought 2 of these new in the past, still have both - but look at this other auction site and the prices here seem a little high.

This was the perfect item for some old cassettes I wanted to use in a more remote part of my home. The package arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Everything is working fine.

I tried to burn tapes with it. He plays too fast and his voice is much higher than it should be. I don't know if there's a way to adjust the speed, but it barely works as a tape recorder.

We were looking for a cheap portable tape recorder with good voice reproduction that would run on a home network. The Sony CRSB15 does an excellent job here. In addition, radio reception (both AM and FM) is reasonably good and music playback quality is acceptable.

Found in a garage many years ago. We had just bought new lounge chairs so I put new batteries in and relaxed to listen to old Frankie Lane/Mario Lanza etc records. It works great, everything you could ever need, clear volume as well as AM/FM. When the batteries died, I plugged in the power cord.

I've had this for many years and it still works great. It sits in a garage where all I need is good volume and clarity and this unit delivers. The only downside is the tuning - it's not digital, so picking up weaker radios is sometimes difficult. I haven't used a cassette player in a long time, so I can't comment on this feature. For what it is, however, it gets the job done.
