🔒 Southco 93 303 Plastic Latching Thickness: Efficient Security and Durability Review

Fits 2006 Yamaha SX230. We need something to lock our belongings while parking at the restaurants piers. Looks great and does what it's supposed to!

This was a direct replacement for my broken glove box latch. Delivery was fast, price was good - installation was easy. My only complaint is the use of a VERY VERY COMMON CH751 key. My RV uses the same for its compartments. Almost anyone can open it with the key to YOUR boat or van - such a set of keys is common.

New lock installed on time! Fits very well, looks good, but with a security problem! I ordered a new lock because I lost the key to the old one. After installation, I put a new key in the old lock. "It worked in the old lock!" It looks like Southco has been using the same key on all of their locks for years because the old one was made over 19 years ago! So there are many Southco lock owners who have a key that has access to my stuff! Knowing this now, there's not much point in locking my hatch
