OpenSUSE - Good Alternative For Enterprise Computer System

I like that it's open source software so you can verify its integrity yourself before installing as far as possible. The interface isn't very user friendly for those who are new or not familiar with Linux at all. There may be better alternatives out there but this was what we had when my employer wanted me to install their computer system. My colleague used Fedora previously which made things much easier compared to Windows. This helped him get his work done using an OS he felt more comfortable

Pros
  • Easy installation
  • Very easy use once installed
  • Open Source Software available if needed.
  • Good support community online too
Cons
  • I don't really have any dislikes about this, everything is just fine

A great operating system to use and learn

I like that it's easy for new users or those who are not computer savvy at all as you can get up an running with little knowledge needed which helps in getting things done quickly without having alot of hassle from other software out there such as windows 7 etc.. The interface isn't very user friendly but once your comfortable using Linux everything will fall into place! If anyone has never used linux before this would be perfect because its so simple yet powerful!! You won't regret trying…

Pros
  • User Friendliness
  • Ease Of Use In Terminal Commands And Software Installation (Not GUI Based)
  • Many Features To Suit Your Needs Even An Existing Windows System.
  • It Receives Regular Updates With Better Functionality Or Bug Fixes So Keep That Mindset Going As This Is A Open Source OS Which Makes Maintenance Very Simplified Compared 2 Other Operating Systems Such Like Fedora, Ubuntu Etc.
  • Not Expensive
Cons
  • All fine

Decent alternative Linux operating environment

I like that it comes with lots of default applications installed, so you don't have to go searching for software or download other programs from an outside source when using this OS. Some things are not as intuitive if they aren't used often enough. For example, file access can be confusing at first because everything looks very similar in terms of directory structure etc., but there's no real guide to follow through your initial setup process. If anyone has trouble figuring out how their…

Pros
  • Easy install
  • Lots Of preinstalled apps (such Microsoft Office)
  • Many different Linux distributions available
Cons
  • All fine
