Great workout and stable juggling

We bought a lighter version of these bikes for general juggling practice and we love them. I wanted something heavier to see if I could use my hobby as a little workout and found that yes they work the arms which is great. Also, they are so heavy that they help you juggle. If you occasionally lose control of the balls, the heavier ones will help you juggle. The heavier ones are great fun to juggle and learn new tricks and keep you from losing control just like the lighter versions.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost never

Ideal for resellers and advanced users, but not for beginners.

As an experienced juggler, I love the color and feel of these balls. that you only teach beginners. If they were listed for an intermediate user I would rate them a lot higher, but since they are listed for a beginner I can't rate them that high. Don't get me wrong, I really like these, it's just that they are advertised for beginners and I think beginners will feel uncomfortable using them.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Beautiful design and feel

I LOVE this product! I started juggling a few months ago as part of a brain development experiment. I juggle in 5 minute increments. I used wrinkled socks first and then golf balls. I bought Speever's Xballs for fun. All I can say is that I couldn't believe it from the first moment they touched my hands. The tactile sensations they convey make juggling a pleasure. In addition, they are beautifully designed. It would be possible to leave them as the beginning of a conversation. I will be buying…

The PERFECT weight for fun, fun, fun!

I was recommended to learn to juggle when I was a teenager trying to get into the army as a pilot and IT WORKS. I had a set of multicolored leather bullets, and their covers were starting to fall apart in dirty slivers of paint (though after several decades of use). So this set should replace them as I read that juggling will help me stay stable on my feet to avoid tripping and falling. This is one of the best "exercises" to improve hand-eye coordination. DO NOT look at your hands! As Wayne…

A great feeling! on Novelty & Gag Toys

I'm not an avid juggler, but I've been able to juggle three balls for a while. I'm tired of juggling oranges and stuff around the house. It doesn't help my flow if the objects have different weights. I'm no better. I chose to buy these balls, not the classic ones that are cheaper. I wanted something durable, beautiful and comfortable. Of course they are a bit more expensive, but I think it's worth it. The weight is easy to hold and the insides don't wobble like on cheaper models. They hold…

Feels good but doesn't fit very well

I really like these juggling balls; They feel good and sand doesn't stick to them. But I am very annoyed by the variability from ball to ball. Two are much softer, like beanbags, while the third is more densely packed. I can't think of an easy way to measure the difference, but if I pinch either of my two healthy fingers between my thumb and forefinger, my fingers are only half an inch apart, but on a hard ball, only my fingers squelch to an inch apart . I was hoping it had something to do with

I run with them (walking/running + juggling)

I've been juggling $9 Duncan balls for a little over 3 months and last week I upgraded to 70g Speevers. 20g lighter than Duncan juggling balls, these speevers are actually slightly LARGER than Duncan's. The larger size makes them easier to catch while running. The mesh outer surface is noticeably more comfortable than the synthetic leather on the Duncans. When my hands get sweaty from running, the balls don't get slippery and rough. I've run over 10 miles in less than a week since receiving…

Cheerful and happy! Best Juggling Sets

I just got into juggling after taking a Jim Quick speed reading class to improve my peripheral vision. These juggling balls are very durable, bean bag quality and soft to catch. I'm a petite woman and got 90g which I felt was perfect for my hands. I have pink and yellow, they are amazing! I started throwing just one ball in my hand for a whole day, multiple times a day, and it was very relaxing and almost therapeutic - the feel and weight was great and natural. Then the next day I used 2 and…

It's hard to find a good heavy juggling ball!

I really, really, really wanted to like these heavier Speevers juggling balls. 650g balls are a good weight for both beginners and training. However, as a serious and experienced juggler, I am concerned that the stitching will be cheap and I don't see how it will hold up for three months. Or even three weeks. For three days I noticed the following problems: NO double stitching on the grid OR on the grid; and I can already see the mesh unraveling and the seams coming apart. I have a set of 1 and
