I have purchased this product before and it always meets my needs. Since my truck has a 6ft platform, I'll take a smaller mesh and use web extensions. The network will eventually stretch enough for me to remove the extensions.

I can't say how it will work in practice but it will be a wonderful and very easy Halloween spider web decoration! No more fuss trying to unravel the web you buy from the outside.

I had the same net about 12 years ago. It was much better made than the new one I got as a replacement. The nylon cover broke on first use. Very cheaply made. The elastic bungee inside consists of just two flat strips that are bent together. Great if all you need is beach balls. Forget kayaks like in the pictures in the boxes. Mine tore up two 10ft kayaks that were just anchored in my Silverado's bed. Garbage.

My husband and I purchased a Webb Spidy Gear Black Load Safety Bed to be used specifically to tie down garbage bags on our way to the local dump. So far he's held up well. It does its job of securing almost everything on the back of our truck. Elastic cords are attached with metal clips that securely keep the mesh intact. We have had no integrity issues with this product. highly recommended!

This is a great cargo net and the small size is very good for short bed pickups (I have a 2007 Tacoma with a short bed). :one. If there is a tarp underneath, make sure it is absolutely secure. A corner of the tarp flapped in the wind, and after a few hours of driving it wrapped itself around one of the cargo net's elastic cords and twisted until it broke (I don't know how). Plastic hooks are fine, but I'd recommend going to your local hardware store and getting a dozen metal hooks for 99 cents…

I drove 1100 miles with stuff on the back of my truck (F150, 5.5ft flatbed) and it didn't move and nothing got wet thanks to the tarp that was underneath! anything on the back of your truck, it's a MUST! You can attach the hooks almost anywhere on the sling for custom tying performance! This is a great bungee system. Regardless of the specified size. sm/med is designed for 8-foot truck bodies. If you are 6.5ft that would be fine. but it won't be tight. My bed is less than 5.5ft and I had to pull it tighter to flatten the mesh. Revane suggested the Sturmee carbines as a frequently purchased item to keep in bed.
