This thing saved me and a great price!

I was stumped with Windows 10 and after a recent update I was unable to mirror my computer screen. So I was looking for something to share screens and came across this article. This product came in 2 days from Revain for $12.88 and I connected it with what few cables I had and nothing. I was so speechless. Only the surveillance computer worked, not for my 42 inch TV. The cables were just old stuff I had laying around. So when I went back to Revain and ordered a 20 foot VGA to VGA cable for an…

Does the job I wanted

Did what I wanted. My Lenovo (POS) All-in-One at work was terrible and I gave my splitter to another teacher. I asked my accountant to get me another (Kramer model) but as usual nothing when I got back from the summer. So I looked for products that would match my new HP 27 inch monitor and its resolution. Found this machine. and decided to give it a try. Oh wonder. Excellent! Worked great with my new monitor (which is cool), PC and projector wall to ceiling connection. Result. I am very, very…

Great for retro PVM gaming and streaming/recording

This splitter is the minimum required to play VGA/RGBS output. Don't just use a Y-cable adapter as this will attenuate the original signal. I use this distribution amplifier to take the signal from my Sync Strike (SCART to VGA with sync stripper) and route it to my PVM and recording computer. With a VGA-4 BNC (RGBS) patch cable I can connect an output to my PVM. I use a standard VGA cable to send other output to my recording computer. I am using Startech USB3HDCAP with drivers that support 240p

The downside of being a tech savvy person is that EVERYONE will ask for help at some point. It's not really a disadvantage as I'm happy to help, but it gets bad when THESE people then offer their services to their friends/family/colleagues. After DVI, I never thought I'd need a VGA splitter, but that's where one of those lower-end services comes in. - a security DVR and duplication of the video stream to the owner's office. The DVR sits on top of the cupboards in the break room along with the…
