Super comfortable shoes

I was going to Acadia NP and wanted a lightweight boot/boot that would be both lightweight and give me confidence when traversing loose rocks and boulders. The shoes were perfect! I have a very narrow heel, but my foot didn't slip! Very convenient!

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Sad gear

I love her! best in sporty style

I've had them for a few months now and have ridden about 100 miles (maybe more) in them. Aside from being dirty from hiking, they showed no signs of wear. They hold up great, are comfortable and have never given me blisters. absolutely love her!

Grinding after a hike

These shoes are comfortable, provide great support and traction for day hikes. However, I am very disappointed that the craftsmanship does not hold water. They started falling apart in the same spot on each shoe, leading me to believe it's a factory defect. A long time ago I had another pair of LaSportiva hiking shoes that I liked and they were very durable. It's a shame the brand isn't as reliable as it used to be.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great shoes! suitable for women

La Sportiva has been a lifesaver for me. I struggled with plantar fasciitis and other foot issues while wearing other hiking shoes. I walk 2-4 miles DAILY on the trail and have NOT had any issues since I started buying La Sportiva shoes. This is my third style and it is AMAZING. There are no break-in issues and the shoes support the activity. The first model I wore (there were 3 pairs) was discontinued. Other shoes were intended for climbing in western national parks. I wear this pair daily and

Great Lightweight Hiking Shoe

It took a few tries to get this shoe the right size but finally got it. I took them on a hike in the Sierras last year and then went hiking and camping with them all over the place. They are light enough to be easily stowed away, but still offer sufficient support when hiking thanks to their stiff sole. I love them for hiking and will continue to buy the exact same shoes when mine wear out. If you're a fan of really big hiking shoes, then you might not like them for longer hikes, but for hikers

Great shoes for hiking!

I was looking for a lighter weight hiking shoe and these were recommended to me. I wore them the first time for a 10 mile hike in a Maine 4000 and the second time for a 12 mile hike in an NH 4000. They worked great and I didn't need a break-in period. The rigidity of the sole and the excellent padding are enough that I don't feel the stones under my feet. Even a few times when my finger was pushed forward on long descents, I barely felt it. They fit my goals and my feet perfectly - they fit a…

No "hacking " is required with them!

This is my second pair, they are great for trail running and hiking and I don't need time to break them in. In fact I forgot they were on me because they are so comfortable. They do weigh a little, but as soon as they get to their feet you'll feel the cushioning and support. The sock is roomy, the heel doesn't slip on me (I have narrow heels). There are also no hot spots on the ankle or heel. The laces can be worked in for a more secure feel, or if you need ankle freedom, loosen them and you're

Very durable and comfortable.

When I first started running, I bought a pair of LaSportiva Wildcat trail running shoes at my local athletic store. I went to a pro to get my foot fitted to make sure I was getting the right shoe for my running style. According to my "running pro," I have "terribly long and narrow" feet, so there were only two brands of shoes that fit my feet. I bought a pair of the above running shoes and started running. I have found these brands to be very comfortable on my foot, have not had to be adjusted…
