Great price and perfect fit!

2006 Acura TSX. This is an exact match, unlike the $50 version I saw here that required some tweaking. quick install in less than 30 minutes and remove codes. The dealer part is $260. If it fails sooner I will add an update.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Disappear

Fixed throttle issues in my 2004 Acura TL

Fixed weird throttle response in my 2004 Acura TL. This is the second time I've had to replace this sensor (after 210,000 miles) and this time it was nice to have aftermarket support for this part (slightly cheaper). Let's see if this one lasts longer than the previous one. Did an OEM exchange.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Right side, machine repaired!

This part was a perfect replacement for my 2008 Acura TL Type-S APPS. I installed it in about 20 minutes from start to finish. When I drove the car after that I had no more problems with the VSA and also the annoying jerk or bunny start is gone. Acura was asking $327 to $357 before tax depending on who I called. This part was great.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • There are problems

Looks like an OEM to fit gas pedal

Easy to install in my 05 Acura TL to fix code P2138. For 248,000 miles, the car has always "stalled out" when starting; I always thought it was supposed to be like this. This has also been fixed, the start is now smoother and more linear. It appears to be an original manufacturer and the area where "KEIHIN" was originally written is a shiny rectangle where the letters have been sanded away. The price is great too.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Negative impression

Doesn't fit plug sensor on 07 Acura TL

APP sensor doesn't fit my clicky plug. It's not even fully on yet, which is dangerous, but I have work tomorrow and need to be on until I find the right one. Frustrated that I did not receive the same part that everyone says is the same as the original part. I have an acura tl and was more than sure it would fit, but it WILL NOT FIT IN THE FORK!

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Useless features

The connector failed to engage

Managed to install the block to replace the original one. Unfortunately, on the final step, the connector's plastic tab didn't snap into place no matter how hard I pushed. With the original device, the plug simply clicked into place without any effort. I have requested a replacement and will update in due course. Update: Replacement received and installed three days later. This time the connector fitted a little better, although it still took some effort to get the latch in place. Drive a…

Nice item for a good price.

I bought this part because my 2007 TL gave error P2138 "Throttle position sensor - Incorrect voltage correlation". The car went into limp mode and stayed in fourth gear until restarted. Replacing this part was fairly easy; It's at the top of the firewall on the passenger side. After replacing this part, the error code was gone and I no longer had these issues. Throttle sensitivity has been greatly improved and the car drives much better. This is a good replacement at a significantly lower price

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • There are defects

Hope it's done right

This was for my 2004 Acura TL. About 2 years ago a real Honda (Acura) of this item cost $80. Luckily I bought it before the price went up to around $200. Even a real Honda block was made in Mexico, so there's a good chance it's OE. They have been known to fail after about 200,000 miles and as soon as they fail you see x3 stupid lightbulbs; CEL, ABS and VSA (same for electronic throttle). In this case, you will significantly lose acceleration, since the ECU puts your engine in emergency mode…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Easier than I thought to replace

I was so amazed my ps2138 error was found easily on google and found videos and instructions on what is wrong, which part to buy and how to fix it replaced and cleared the trouble codes. First, I have a 2007 Acura TL. Mileage is 113000 km. Coming back from the airport I suddenly lost acceleration, error code ps2138, VSA error, and the check engine light came on. Acceleration dropped to almost zero. I pulled off the freeway in lane K and parked the car. I restarted it and after that everything…

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
