Small output. for humidifier

The only good thing about this vaporizer is that it's easy to fill. Even at high power (it only has 2 settings), the fog output is only enough for a small to medium-sized bedroom. The design is a bit strange. The power cord runs under the steam inlet. The spout is also not adjustable in direction. I use 2 months. During this time it turned off 3 times when it was still half full. There are better options that are cheaper.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Easy to clean Humidifier compatible

This humidifier works great and is easy to clean. The essential oil section is a nice touch. Note, however, that this is not an essential oil diffuser, it is a humidifier. I put white vinegar on the floor and let it sit for 20-30 minutes then use a small brush to clean the heating element and that's it, it's a lot easier than cold mist humidifiers which have so many areas to clean and a lot easy to clean are moldy. Will most likely buy another one for the living room.

BUYER WARNING: FAKE ITEM DOES NOT WORK

JUST RECEIVED AND TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX, FILLED WITH COMPLETELY FRESH FILTERED WATER, JUST MAKE SURE IT WILL NOT SWITCH ON. DO NOT ORDER ELECTRONICS FROM AMAZON, YOU NEVER KNOW IF YOU WILL RECEIVE A COUNTERFEIT THAT DOESN'T WORK FROM A SCAM LIKE THIS. Check out the Netflix documentaries on the Revain scams if you don't know. DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM. You'd better go to your local big store and buy than risk Revain.

Required in New England winter

Warm mist vaporizers are much better than cool mist vaporizers because cold vaporizers form mold and have corrosive parts. Unless you fill it with distilled water, the heating element will develop mineral deposits that will need to be cleaned periodically (like a coffee maker), but this one is well constructed so the element can be stripped and soaked in vinegar or some other descaling solution. Everything about it works fine. The detachable bucket makes refilling easier. Durgol solution…

Works great for heating, cooling and air quality

Bought to fix dry air in my house in winter and two years later I can say it has done a great job. I install it on the floor in my computer room and its relative humidity can go from 22% to 35% or more depending on the day. It lasts over 7 hours on high settings, about twice as long as I think on low. Sometimes it makes a faint "gurgling" during operation, but most of the time it's silent. The auto-off function failed early on once, but it's been working flawlessly ever since, so it now seems…

So cool I bought a second one

I love this humidifier. Starting with one, I now have two since my kids are no longer sharing a room (and are old enough that using a heated vapor humidifier is not a safety hazard). So easy to fill with a pitcher, holds plenty of water and can run at altitude all night. Love the place to add some essential oils for a nice smell. Unlike cool mist humidifiers, it doesn't foul inside, but since it boils your water, mineral deposits will build up around the heating element unless you use filtered…

Say goodbye to dry air

I've only had this humidifier for a few weeks but so far I love it. It's definitely not for the whole house unless you live with Bilbo Baggins. For a small apartment or single room, however, it does a good job (and can help end your long battle with static electricity and electroshock treatment when petting your cat in the winter). My plants absolutely love it. This little jewel is easy to fill and doesn't spill. Even if you suffer from severe hand tremors, you can deal with it without getting…

No dust and minimal mold

There seems to be some confusion as to what this device is and what it does. Boils water. This does two things. It produces vapor that is hygienic by definition; and second, the steam adds humidity to the room. When moisture condenses on the windows, Steamfast does its job too well. It's on a low setting, but indoors in winter, a small amount of vapor can go a long way. There's no dust as the vapor exiting the device is essentially distilled water, and there's no odor or mold. the block is…

Steamfast Humidifier Review

Received today. I will update this review if anything changes. I have been buying humidifiers for many years. I just gave up the ultrasound (once again) because of the white dust. I know these steam models are difficult to clean if you have hard water. I have cancer and respiratory problems so a humidifier is a must. What I like is that you can fill this machine from the top. I first filled the tank in the kitchen sink and when the water ran out during use today I just topped it up with a…
