Fit 2002 Silverado best in interior

I'm not a big fan of plastic, but the factory block was mostly plastic. The bottom bracket is replaced by a plastic bushing, let's see how long it lasts.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Terrible product, best parts

I spent all my time replacing this steering shaft bearing and it was worse than the original worn assembly. waste of time and money. Do not buy!

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Very sticky packaging

This item came with a type of sticky cellophane wrap which stuck to the plastic and would not peel off completely. In addition, the installation worked perfectly, the steering wheel no longer rattles.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Expensive

This is not a Dorman brand bearibg

When I unpacked it it was wrapped in cling film. I could not completely remove this film as if it was stuck to the case. I checked the bearing and it felt jerky when turning, like a ball was missing.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Almost everything is ok

Lasted 5 months in parts

Installed early December 2019. Started rattling/clinking again in May 2020. Slipped out of position. It won't even stay in place. The distinctive rumble is back despite the truck testing negative for COVID-19 twice.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Stock availability

Not as good as we would like. on Trim

A spare part was bought to eliminate the rattling of the steering shaft. Built-in part, I thought it should be solved, and went in easily. No rust was seen for about a week. The creaking returned, I bought a different brand part, it came on a lot tighter and the knocking was gone.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • price piggy bank

Poor quality: body and fairing

We bought one of these to save some money. The first one broke after 2 weeks. We could return the first for another. The second broke after a month and a half. Couldn't return this one because it exceeded the Revain return window.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Nothing here

So far the best of the two.

This is the second replacement for my 2005 Silverado 1500. And better than the last. Nice to know they are trying to improve it. My last was a Dorman and the white plastic was peeling off. The bearings were left in place.

Pros
  • Upholstery
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Didn't even last a year! Best in Finish

Very disappointed. Not even a year has passed and it needs to be changed again. Bought in October 2019 and started making noise in September 2020. Worst of all, the truck only does 5,000 to 6,000 miles a year so if I drove it nationwide it probably wouldn't last 6 months.

Pros
  • Steering Columns
Cons
  • Slightly Torn

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Useless and nothing compared to OEM

Bought 2 and cost nothing, return for refund, bearings run on plastic and turn rough even with the grease provided. Worse than the original at 200k. The wave has more play with them and more noise. Spend more money and get a better product, it's just crap not worth bothering with.

Pros
  • Interior
Cons
  • Some problems
