Just like my hairdresser.

Great value for money rather than buying from the local store. It is already known that hairdressers and beauty salons inflate the prices of such products. This is the same (brand name) product. If you want to save a lot of money, this is a good option. The product is a good control product. It is good for those who have thick or difficult to manage hair. Also, it's not as bad/harsh as other products that dry out on your hair. This is a type of cream/cream that does not dry out or dry out the…

Very good for the price

I've been looking for a cheap but good hair product for many years. This is the most perfect I've found so far. It has a lovely tropical scent, washes off easily with water, and the container you get for $12 is huge! I would say it has low to moderate sheen with good holding power. Not matte, of course, but not greasy either. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • No insurance

NOT old style d:struct moldable cream

I bought based on a question and answer that said it was the same product as the old 'flexible shape cream' in a clear jar with a blue lid was. It is not. This product, sold by American Crew, had the consistency of toffee and a fix ratio of 8 out of 10. It's lighter, pure white, almost like yogurt, and doesn't last as long or as well. Although this product's description says "D:fi D:struct Pliable Molding Crème", please note that this does NOT say on the jar; It's just a medium hold shaping…

Ideal for thin hair!

I resisted using "styling wax" until my barber recommended it. Pea sized to part between the fingers of both hands and my curls are tamed and I even have a bit of body and wave in my very fine short hair. 👍

Excellent material! in hair care

The lady who cuts my hair put this on me about ten years ago and I've been using it ever since. The front is a bit longer and I like having it brushed to the side and keeping it in place. It is great. Its texture is somewhere between mousse and gel. Best of all, applying a little to damp hair will keep your hair in place and keep that wet look. But if you let it dry and then run a comb or brush over it, the wet look will disappear but your hair will stay where it should be. PLUS, your hair…

Not like it used to be

The last time I bought this product was probably 2013-2014 and after all this time with almost no use it was empty. the same thing. I saw comments like this and thought I'd give it a try but I'm sorry and will try to get it back.

Gives shape to hair and holds it in place.

I have fairly straight, fairly soft hair that is easy to style. This product keeps him energized throughout the day - two days in fact. Don't use too much. Takes a long time. Good value for money.

A GOOD THING! Excellent consistency, lasts a little long.

My hairdresser gave me a tin of this product and I loved it so have been buying it ever since. I have a short haircut and use it as a styling product. I love the texture and how it works with my hair. It has a nice texture and is very easy to apply. I start with about a quarter the amount of ammonia, then add more as needed. It's water soluble so rinse my hands with warm water and rinse it out of my hair. It has a pleasant smell (think pina colada) and is unisex. I strongly recommend everyone…

Stylin! Beauty and Personal Care

This paste smells fantastic. My hair smells like a beach vacation, but not too much. My girlfriend loves the smell. Small strokes are great for short hair, but very little is needed for long hair. I have found that emulsifying the paste in a few drops of water before applying it to the hair makes it smoother and softer. Helps avoid that crunchy look. I've been using this item for many years and I really love it.

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Thin

Very natural looking but long lasting for thick, coarse hair.

My husband has tried every hair care product available at local stores and hair stylists. He's been buying it for over a year now and says he loves it. He has short to medium length coarse hair that can be a bit wavy/fluffy if left alone. This product allows him to tame it, reduce/prevent frizz and style it without smudging. Very natural looking but long lasting for thick, coarse hair.

Pros
  • Hands-free work
Cons
  • Very expensive
