I used this to build a dual band ADS-B receiver, now I understand why the Cardassians were so concerned when Jean-Luc Picard was able to read their transponders

Happy with this case

Good compact case. I like the fan unit. The plastic tabs on the housing cover fit snugly. The Raspberry Pi fits in. It has two U-channels for attaching antenna cables, but my cables won't stay in place.

I bought this one mainly because it wasn't the same as the one I found pretty flimsy. Just assembled

Expensive, but very well thought out and processed. This is the second case for my Stratux. I bought this one mainly because it wasn't the same as the one I found pretty flimsy. I've just assembled it, but I'll say it's a lot easier to "assemble" than other (clear) cases on the market. Basically everything snaps into place, just fits and works. Much better than the other case I had. Highly recommended.

Expensive for what you get (and don't get).

Made in China. boo No instructions. Boo.Antenna wires fall across the top of the RPi. boo The antenna is not grounded. boo There are no plastic screws to hold the RPi securely in place. boo $19 is pretty expensive for 4 cents of plastic and a very cheap fan. boo $5 to ship an item with this light is very outrageous. Bad boo. The SD card cutout is too small for adult hands. boo No fan for the hottest part of the system, SDR. Bad boo. No suction cups to attach. The Boo.(C?) mount is a nice touch,

The best Stratex case!

Best build case for Stratux! I got this case without knowing much about it, but I'm glad I did! Even the "official" Stratux case sucks compared to this thing! I love the fact that it has grommets for the SMA antenna nuts and clamps for the antenna wires. The fan moves a lot of air and the case is incredibly durable.
