Works great on a 2002 BMW R1150RT, fits snugly into the plug

This socket fits a 2002 BMW R1150RT. It's thin enough not to touch the walls of the valve covers. It appears to be well made; There is no play when using it.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Didn't work for me

Product was too thick! If you can believe it I have a 1995 Daihatsu Hijet EF-EN 3 cylinder engine and its sparks are too unique. I had to import them. I'm sure this product will do for my application, but it was still too thick for me to fit through the gap. Wouldn't recommend or recommend.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Expensive

Sunex 884504 3/8 " Thin Wall Washer Metric Spark Head

Bought 2 of these for my wheels 100x better than trying to use those cheap sockets that come with wheels and bikes, plug hole and unplug unplugged it with no problem.I tried this because regular spark plugs don't work on most ATV's.I wish I had seen them years ago.

Pros
  • Sturdy finish
Cons
  • Some bugs

Internal rubber feet with spark plug

First use Inner rubber glued to spark plug. Luckily I was able to detach it from the spark plug. Had to be glued back into the socket. Then it worked properly. I suggest paying more and getting one that is magnetic. Also, I would advise the seller to clearly state the 16mm size in the specs. Do not rely solely on the product photo for sizing.

Pros
  • All set!
Cons
  • Some bugs

The rubber inside does NOT hold the spark plug!

Last weekend while removing the bottom spark plug from my Honda outboard at the lake, the NGK spark plug fell into the hood, almost impossible to get out, 30 minutes of work just to remove the spark plug . The elastic is too big, it doesn't even touch the plug. I wrapped about 5 turns of electrical tape around it, pushed it back, and then it made contact. pathetic technique.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Little things

Get all 16 on a 2008 Dodge 4.7L Engine

I bought this socket to fit the bottom row of spark plugs in my 4.7L Dodge engine. I threw away the remaining 6 in no time. I highly recommend this socket if you have a 4.7L engine with 16 sockets. By attaching a pair of different length extensions to it, the user can perform a complete spark plug service without the need for another tool. Great addition to my tool box.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Modern

Seems like a good tool but not the right size.

It would probably be a very good head for its purpose if I could read the size in millimeters correctly on the rosette in the promotional photo. What appeared to be 18mm (needed) is actually 16mm. Nowhere in the announcement was the actual size of the outlet mentioned. Full confidence that the specification in the photo is made. Well, for the price, I'll keep and toss in a tool chest for possible future need - there are never enough suitable tools or I can't find them.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Very affordable thin wall spark plug socket in my 4.7 liter Dodge Dakota

PROS: o Very affordable compared to other 5/8 thin wall sockets o Good quality CONS: o No thin wall socket needed to replace spark plugs in my Dodge Dakota 4.7L, and the three standard 5/8 spark plug sockets I have do NOT fit the holes that the spark plugs are recessed in. After much searching I decided to try this 16mm jack as it is only 0.004 larger. It worked well and getting the job done saved me a ton of money.

Pros
  • Happy so far
Cons
  • I'll write later
