Poor quality product, as you can see the package is full of crushed seeds (powder). the smell is terrible save money buy something better

Not very happy with the old smell when the packaging was opened and it seemed that it was just pieces and small pieces. Here's what I was shocked about.

Trash. No better than Walmart. I was hoping this would be a healthy option for my cockatoo but it is 90% tiny seeds that she is not interested in. As a result, he gave them to wild birds.

Good mix for parrots. I love that I can tell exactly what most of the pieces are so I know it's REAL food. There's peanuts, chili (a MUST!), apple, banana chips, lots of seeds, etc. Good thing it still has the same fresh and fruity taste as the old Vita Prima!

I've been buying an older version of this Sunscription food for my gray parrot for 14 years. The food always tasted good and my bird liked it. I have been using the Sunseed Vita Prima Parrot Blend for a long time. These are really good clean seeds. I previously bought one that had sunflower seeds in it. As several avian vets have pointed out, the tendency to stuff everything with thistle seed isn't particularly great. It is a bitter seed and very cheap.
