This little one works

Our side-by-side freezer wouldn't drain and kept dripping through the door while the bottom drawer was stuck with accumulated ice. Tired of thawing a small drain hole. I saw a YouTube video with this little beauty. Luckily my husband has an electronics degree and you don't need one. It's been two months since the heater was installed, so far so good. Very happy.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

I have a condensate drain freezing problem on a SubZero (BI-36) Onboard Condenser. A very small frozen drain line can cause condensation to collect in the refrigerator compartment. Luckily the BI-36 has 120VAC for an internal air filter fan that can be wired along with this drain heater to prevent ice from forming in the drain. This completely solved the 2-3 year old freezer drain problem that plagued these refrigerators, especially in high humidity conditions. Bad Sub-Zero design for a $10,000

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • When In Doubt

The legs, used to transfer heat to the drain pipe and also to hold the heater in place, do not wrap around each other or stabilize in any…
