Ugh, it was impossible to find hose mounts.

I wanted to put this in a drip tray and then connect it to a hose. Finding connectors was a nightmare at Home Depot and then Ace Hardware. When you added the connectors, the height of the hose connector far exceeded the depth (I thought) of the drain tank. I picked it up after the right of return expired. I tried it without the lid on the container and it barely sucked any water out.

Is the product working?: Water pumps, parts and accessories

We have received our pump. Not installed by return date. Installed yesterday, August 19th. The pump did not work at all on clients that were flooded with bypass space. We then tested it outside in a drywall bucket. It still didn't work. Since it was an emergency, we went out and bought another pump. As a construction company we have purchased countless Superior pumps in 40 years and none of them have failed. Model 92431. Now that the return period has passed we are attempting to contactโ€ฆ

Works great for me!

I first bought this pump from Home Depot. It arrived pre-damaged - it had been dropped before HD packed it for shipping and the float switch was a mess. Took it back for a refund in HD. I couldn't wait another week before HD got me a new one, so I checked out Revain. Prime had a new pump at my house 2 days later. Easy to install and works great. I bought a 10 gallon Rubbermaid Brute trash can to use as a pit, drilled many 3/8" holes in it and covered the outside with 2" gravel. 3/4" PVCโ€ฆ

Height switch not adjustable momentarily off

This pump is perfectly sized for m (1/3 HP) and is only needed when I have a day or two of above average rain. It happened yesterday. It turns on when the water level in the sump is about 7 inches and takes about 15 seconds to lower it to about 2 1/2 inches. And that is the reason for the 4 stars. The description and photo state that it will decrease to 1 inch. This is the main reason I bought this pump as I don't want to leave too much excess water in the pool. I called the company and theyโ€ฆ

very quiet, strong and fast!

Wow! I'm replacing a cheap pump that came with the house. This pump I replaced shook the whole house and it seemed to keep working until it emptied the cesspool. THIS little guy is a soldier! I can't even hear it turn off! And when I tried to demonstrate this to my husband by pouring water into the cesspool, he failed every now and then! It's so quiet, fast, and powerful that he emptied it in no time before my husband had a chance to see it! I had to run upstairs to get water. I look forward to

Great for garden drainage

There was still water in my yard so I buried this powerful little pump in a 5 gallon bucket (with notches on the sides and a hole in the lid for the drain hose and AC power cords). installed a flexible drain hose. This was the perfect solution because the float valve drives the pump without me having to do it. When it rains, I no longer have standing water. TIP: For similar purposes, you need to buy a bucket, a check valve and a flexible hose. You will also need a small saw or dremel to cut the

Love it. Except for this small problem.

I have to say I'm impressed with the pump's solid construction and it seems to work great. However, I am disappointed by some details regarding the settings. My vertical float keeps sticking to the bottom of the pump housing which is why the pump keeps working. Nothing in the manual indicates an adjustment for this, and I don't see any other instructions for the height/depth of the float itself. Others who have had this problem have fixed it by bending up the lever that holds the float assembly

Sturdy design, can pump vertically and remove muddy water

I originally bought this to pump water out of holes in a foundation foot at a construction site that were filled with muddy/semi-muddy earth every week later heavy rainwater. I placed the pump assembly in a 5 gallon bucket and drilled 8 holes about 2" from the bottom of the bucket to prevent direct exposure to the thicker dirt while still allowing water to flow in. Then I dipped the bucket and pumped into the base. Holes with a rope connected to the pump and bucket. Obviously my holes wereโ€ฆ

Good pump, dirty when installed

I got 1/3 hp with vertical float. Replacing the old one with this one was pretty easy until it was time to line up the tube from the pump with the check valve. The tube that screws into my pump goes straight up, then bends 90ยฐ to the horizontal section with the check valve and then another 90ยฐ to rise outwards. L from the pump did not match the check valve. Apparently the point where the vertical pipe is screwed into the pump is an inch and a half higher to the bottom of the sump than the oldโ€ฆ
