It's easy to burn yourself with this

Warning! This glue gun is very hot! As soon as I got it I pocketed it, pulled the trigger to start it and immediately shot myself in the leg with hot glue and ended up having fluid filled blisters on my leg for a couple of weeks. It actually says it's a "high temp" glue gun, but for some reason I skipped that part after reading the description. If you don't know you really need hot glue, you can choose another gun. It's easy to get burned. Otherwise I have no complaints. Due to the fact that it

Inconsistent Results

I used about 35-50 Surebonder high temp glue sticks in this hot glue gun and finally gave up and threw it in the trash. Even after waiting 5 to 10 minutes before use, no glue was dispensed without a hard pull of the trigger, and in fact hot glue came out of the end of the glue feed mechanism several times. There were times when I used the same technique and the same Surebonder glue sticks where I got great results, with lots of glue coming out without much trigger pressure. Sometimes it starts…

Wow it's getting hot:

This glue gun is getting incredibly hot. If you think you're going to burn yourself with a regular-sized hot glue gun, you're in for a treat. All it takes is a tiny misplaced blob of glue and you'll get a wake-up call that lasts a few minutes. (I only mention this because getting burned with a regular glue gun isn't a bad thing at all. You can count on it to dry quickly and release instantly. This glue gun heats up the glue so much that it takes a while takes to cool down... you're kind of…

Solid company and great gun.

First off, I have a lot of Surebonder guns because they all work great. It does exactly what it promises and does it very well. I buy Surebonder glue guns partly because they and mine work, and partly for this reason. I bought another model of surebonder gun and to be honest it was a lemon. It did not work; it had just passed quality control and should have ended up in the trash, not in my hands. If I hadn't bought other well-made and sturdy shotguns, including this one, I wouldn't have bought…

No strings, no leaks, no squeaks! I'm happy!

This is one of those things you never knew you were missing until you got your hands on it! I've always been a crafter, but I've only recently become an artist and I've also discovered that hot glue guns aren't necessarily just for crafting! When I realized I was using my hot glue gun more and more, I figured it might be worth investing in something nicer than (*shudders*) Walmart's double-temporary AdTech POS, which was a good idea. My old glue gun likes to leave little mounds of glue if you…
