Tears quickly in tetherball

A few months out and it's got so many cracks it looks like it's been sitting there for years! (And that's in Ohio, not the south where the sun is so cruel.) Very disappointed. However, it hasn't lost any air, so I give it to the stars instead of one.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Several reviewers expressed concern that it was too difficult for small hands. I have no idea why they posted this, except maybe they over-inflated the ball? My 5 year old twins use it, smack it hard with their open palm and love it. You will play for hours.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • ill-conceived

Don't leave him out overnight

The ball is also nice and soft on the leash. My only issue is that the ball started cracking after a few weeks out. We had to untie it and bring it in after hours - to make it easier for the kids to tie it on and off I cut the rope in half and made a tie hook in the middle.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Little things

Good tether ball! for leisure, sports and playroom

The ball is not as soft as I imagined, but I have never played tetherball. It says pump up to 2.5psi, which is hard to measure. I was able to fill the ball with enough air that didn't cause serious injury, but it's still fun to play with in the backyard. Good tetherball, the kit has everything you need! We had a post in our backyard, instead of digging it up I found a new use for it!

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • There are problems

I have to say I love this ball

I have to say I love this ball. It's softer than any other tetherball we've bought. This is our third ball. Other balls hurt and even injured our fists and arms. Not this one! Yes, it will fade and the rope will rot if left outside. However, this applies to every ball I leave outside in Miami weather. The ball comes with a nice long rope and a handy carabiner to attach it to the tetherball rod. The ball arrived on time and was properly inflated. I love this ball and will buy it again. Please…

Do I think this product is good or bad? You will never know.

Most of my reviews are positive. However, on the few occasions that I post a negative review, and I only do so when it's well deserved, my comment is blocked by the "Sensitivity Filter". No obscenities, no boycott calls, nothing. I only explain the reasons why I am dissatisfied with the purchased product. what to do jeff Brothers? Do some sellers pay you to suppress negative comments? Now every product I buy gets the same claim even if I really like it. It's a shame for sellers who deserve…

Not worth the name but works for $10

Tachikara used to make some of the BEST volleys I swore were at college games. This ball isn't soft anyway; it's more like hitting a cheap basketball. The metal clip broke within a week because my 9 year old son hit it hard. by Target, lasted 6 years - it took about 3 before significant damage was done. As a result, I tied the cable to the pole and it works - it was never removed for the winter. Time will tell how long the ball lasts. All in all, for $10 it's not a bad buy, just note it's not…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Modern

Misleading: Leisure Sports & Game Room

Tetherball is a fun game, I've always wanted to try it with my son in our backyard as there is a metal pole, finally decided on this one because it says 'soft'. but this ball is not soft at all, at first i thought i put too much air in so i let some air out, but it still wasn't soft when you hit it, it hurt my little boy's hands. It's not soft like they said, it should be ok for an adult but not a little one. The rope that comes with the ball is too long, our metal pole is about 8 feet tall…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • The list will go on.

Dogs love it but some assembly is required

Bought this for my Australian Shepherds to play with. My only two complaints: 1) It was sent completely deflated in a mailing envelope. I suppose everyone should have the means to blow this up? The description did not mention any special tooling or assembly requirements. Not a big deal because I have a supercharger, but it would be nice to know about it. 2) The needle needed to inflate the ball was not included. I'm middle-aged with no children, so it would be unusual for me to have these…
