Tailonz Pneumatic Cylinder Connector - MAL25X150 Review

I am using this to automate the tailgate latches on my dump truck. This works very well. I use a 5 position switch from the same manufacturer to push/pull this plunger. At 150 psi it takes all my strength to push the piston in or out (as opposed to how air gets there) so I'm estimating the power to be around 150 pounds or so. Quick couplers and I had to contact the seller but they quickly sent me a replacement part and a set of other fittings. In general I am satisfied.

I was impressed with the metalwork and durability, but unfortunately an air leak around the tappet rendered the cylinder unusable. My guess is that the seal doesn't fit, or the stem doesn't stop and hits the seal in the fully extended position, damaging the seal (the surface of the stem was smooth, so I suspect no leaks due to the roughness of the stem surface). If the manufacturer fixes this leakage problem (which other customers complain about), this product could become a very good product…

Great. This is a sleek design. I hooked it up to a 2 position 3 way magnet with a timer to turn it on and off automatically and so far its responsiveness is great no matter how fast I move it. I'm not making him work hard so I can't confirm his strength, but so far his speed is pretty impressive. No instructions were provided so I'm not sure how or if it needs to be lubricated. I'll have to search, I hope there's an answer somewhere. I would like to have more than just two pressure hose…
