Works on the RV pop up canvas. Costs money!

I used this tape to fix a tarp on a pull out camper. There were quite a few tears, so I needed some rolls. Cracks on the heavily worn edges. It's been over a month and this thing works great. It can be a little tricky to use because it's sooooo sticky. I found that out early and switched to smaller strips because I messed up some of them. I also plan to use it to patch a hole in a leather sofa. This product is worth the money!

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

This is a wonderful product.

The corners of the vinyl/tarp on my RV are torn making sewing almost impossible. I should also mention that these are high stress points, especially with tornadoes sweeping through the lake. The tape is amazing, I prepared the surfaces very carefully (not porous) and I feel that with three coats the result is better than the original design. More than two years later, in the wind and hot sun, the tape holds up and only a little wear is visible.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Can't remember

Tear-Aid Type A great for camping and backpacking

I had a 2 x 2/4 inch tear in my motorized awning. I wanted fairly large canopies that would prevent further damage. ai went to revain where repair kits were described. The tear caught my attention. The price was a bit high but I wanted everything to be done right. The reviews were great, so I ordered. When it arrived, I immediately got to work. The instructions were legible and looked like they were printed somewhere in Southeast Asia. The tape was useless, didn't stick On the first day I tried

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Speed of operation

The tape attached my old support block for our curtains

The tape worked well and stuck very well and restored the back of my deuterated curtains. at least temporarily. Why did I buy this product. Until I can completely replace them in the fall. My only wish is that I would have bought more since my order had so many feet. The white tape I bought didn't provide full sun protection like my old curtain it was meant for. But by triple the coverage of the tape (the tape stuck very well to all the layers of tape I applied) I got the sun protection I wasโ€ฆ

Band is great! Best in outdoor activities

I was very skeptical about getting this cartridge. It wasn't a retail package, but it looks like someone cut some of the tape and sent me a skinny piece. It came with a written description of the type and instructions. What's in the world? I bought this for our old trailer tent to fix a plastic window and the tarp on the tent broke. To my pleasant surprise, it worked like super glue. This stuff is amazing! It's like sticky tape. After I fixed the tent trailer, I used it to fix my husband'sโ€ฆ

Not good for trampoline repair

I bought this after reading a few other reviews that it was good for trampoline water slide repair. The repaired area was in the seam. We sewed the seam together and then laid it over to hold the seams in place. After the kids pressed the pavement twice, it came up. I rounded the corners as recommended, but it didn't matter. I don't know if another type B patch would have worked better? But the film is not vinyl. I would say even when applied dry it was questionable if it would hold up soโ€ฆ

This tape really holds!

I patched my nylon tent that was chewed through by a chipmunk. In the evenings the villain wandered around our camp, and at night he tried to get into the tent. He gnawed a hole in the lattice and an even larger one in the floor of the tent between the floor and the door. The tape stuck well and looks like it will stay. Their same brand mesh patches didn't hold up at all. I even tried placing them on each side of the mesh opposite each other hoping the glue would seep through the mesh. Vainโ€ฆ

Tear Aid has many uses and is more economical to use in rolls.

I have used Tear Aid Fabric Repair countless times over the years and buying it in rolls and cutting to size is the most economical method. I've used it for both emergency and permanent canvas or cotton repairs - be it my clothing, camping gear, and camp gear. The key to making sure it sticks well to the fabric is how clean the fabric needs to be to begin with. If it is not possible to clean the fabric beforehand, as in an emergency or on-site repair, at least make sure the fabric is dry. Ifโ€ฆ
