Great item for trailer accessories

I am using this on a 2019 Honda Ridgeline towing a 3100 lb RV with no load. The lightest setting is sufficient for braking assistance.

Installed on a 2016 Acura MDX

I know this item isn't listed as compatible with Acura, but I saw another review that says it works. It didn't work for me. The blue and black wires need to be swapped for them to work on my car. After replacing the two contacts, everything works perfectly.

Pros
  • Lots of extras
Cons
  • Useless features

Fits my Honda Pilot

Easy control installation. If the controller doesn't work like mine after installing it, be sure to check the aux fuse box under the hood. I didn't have a fuse installed for the brake controller from the factory, but the $.50 fuse fixed it and worked like a charm. .

Fits 2011 Honda Ridgeline

This adapter is perfect for the 2011 Honda Ridgeline pre-wired brake control harness. The build quality is decent, with thick wires and hard plastic connectors that match the factory connector perfectly. The hardest part of the project was getting out the factory seat belts, which Honda somehow tried to hide over the parking brakes.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Clever

The best purchase I've made in a long time!

It was the most successful purchase in recent times. I saved about an hour or more by not having to splice the bundles together. It was literally plug and play and I'm glad I spent $8 on this harness. If I had to do it again, I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was delivered quickly and Revain makes it difficult to buy stuff on Prime! So reliable!

Fits my 2020 Honda Pilot.

I had it installed at a shop where I was sent by a Honda dealer who sells trailers and towbars. Connecting to the Honda port was a difficult task and not as easy as the pilot manual says. The mechanic said that although it was tight, it made the job easier than having to manually connect the controller. It took you about 20 minutes to install the brake controller with this adapter.

Works with 2019 Honda Pilot

The harness fits my 2019 Honda Pilot Elite perfectly. The connection and assignment of the cables corresponded to the universal standard wiring harness. See photos for details. Pay attention to the orientation of the OEM diagram. You have to mentally rotate it 180 degrees. It was a lot easier than trying to splice and connect the wires with other harness options. Finding the connector in the car wasn't difficult, but plugging it in with one hand was a bit more difficult.

Fits 2018 Honda Ridgeline

Installed a Tekonsha brake controller on my 2018 Honda Ridgeline with this wiring harness with no problems. It was long enough to get (only) from Honda's OEM connector, which is under the dash, to the center console. I found mine in front of the console gear selector at the bottom of the center dash. Please note that the original connector is over where the left foot will be when driving, not over the brake pedal as instructed.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Volume

Works great on my 2012 Acura MDX

I couldn't find a cable that says it works with the Acura MDX. Apparently nobody has connected a brake controller to it yet. After comparing the pigtail wire that came with the factory Acura hitch to the photos of this Honda Pilot wiring harness adapter, I decided to give it a try. Worst case I would cut the cables and fasten them properly. Good news: everything works fine. To my delight, the connector fits the Acura adapter exactly. I also matched the wires and they are exactly how I would…
