Unlike conventional "low profile" designs that focus on controlling only the thickness of the head, we reduced the size in every dimension: height, width, and length. Quick-release drive tang locks securely on to sockets so they won't accidentally fall off. Biased drive direction switch ensures the ratchet gear is engaged at all times, preventing slips or free-wheeling. Sleek and simple handle design offers comfort and control in a variety of hand positions. Fully polished exterior has a chrome plated finish that's corrosion-resistant and easy to wipe clean. Stated length is true working length, from center of drive tang to end of handle.

Great wrench at a great price

I love this wrench. I've already put him to work and he can withstand the most difficult situations. The slightest twist and the teeth are locked so it works even in very tight spaces.

    Pros
    • Stylish and modern design
    Cons
    • Useless features

The best ratio of price and quality.

Photo left to right Snap On F80, Gearwrench 84t, Tekton then Cobalt. The Tekton's gear is much smoother and crisper than the Kobalt, almost on par with the Gearwrench and not as crisp and tactile as the Snap On. See photos for size comparison.

    • Quality workmanship
    Cons
    • Not all will fit

The best ratchet among power tools and hand tools

Now I come to the ratchet. I also have other wheel sizes. And I also love that Tekton gives you the ability to operate them. Solid ratchets and consistent torque. No quick release - that's the way to go. The smaller translation is also positive. Trust me, this thing can overpower him when you need it. Do not be afraid

    • Chic design
    Cons
    • I don't like it at all, everything is fine

Revane or Tecton? Best in Wrench

Providing a support email address in the product description with the statement "Warranty: Always Guaranteed" followed by an email address. According to an email from Tekton after I triggered a stinker for ignoring it, they are not tracking this email account. What? You have to go to their website. How about updating this information? Who is to blame? Very annoying. Now I'm basically a week due to bad information. Stupid, annoying nonsense.

    Worth every penny, it's great.

I bought this thinking I forgot my 1/2 inch transition in a dump truck. I found my old one when it arrived. I've been hitting him for about a week now. I think I'm in love! Feels comfortable in the hand, rolls smoothly (silky smooth) and gets into tighter spaces than my old one. I'm considering replacing all the ratchets. Oh, and the lack of a quick-release fastener isn't a problem, it holds the socket securely in place without the old-school sticky "pry off with a screwdriver" effort.

    Great ratchet for the price.

I received a 6" 1/4 ratchet. What a great deal. In my opinion the best ratchet for the price. but for a small price they are very profitable. I find them even better than the 84 tooth ratchet wrench I just ordered a short 1/4", a short 3/8" and a long 3/8". The screws on this ratchet are T5 Torx, so it's a good idea to get a T5 Torx screwdriver if you're ever planning on using one. Overall, a great ratchet. I look forward to trying 3/8" discs.

    TEKTON is great!: Socket

I've worked with cars my whole life, mostly for the last 30 years. I have used every brand and own many brands. Including very expensive tools from trucks. TEKTON tools are amazing. I turned to these tools for the ergonomic feel and great work features. Now I turn to them for a brand when I need a new instrument or just want to buy an extra one or a gift for my sons. Highly recommend their tools, very strong, very durable, beautiful and working. I put her to the test. My 21 year old son also…

    Great little ratchet

A 90T 1/4" for $15? Sign me up! I've had a flex head Mac for years and I love it, but I wanted a different non-flex version I've got it in a Husky ratchet set that I have to carry with my bike but I HATE "quick release" ratchets I got a couple of compound ratchets from HF and they were good and I keep one with my motorcycle tool kit but then again they are These are QR ratchets Then last year I got a set of Williams USA 1/4" and the M-52EHA ratchet that came with it is a really good ratchet but
