    My problem is solved!

    With all the new giant toilet rolls I was so frustrated trying to put the BIG rolls on top of the existing TP roll. I kept buying the smallest buns I could find. Then I got an extension and now I can buy big rolls and it rolls freely. One less hassle. In the photo is my old roller and above is a new one with extensions.

    AFTER ALL. PROBLEM SOLVED!

    In the 1950's, ceramic toilet paper holders were often embedded in ceramic tiled bathroom walls when toilet paper rolls were about 30% smaller. But nowadays toilet paper rolls are much larger and bulkier which in turn results in a significantly larger diameter making it almost impossible to fit a new roll into that tight little space, but eventually Therawan is the solution to my problem.

    For some reason Target and all other major stores now only sell "Megarulons". However, the standard toilet paper holders have not been updated and these extensions are the hardest to find - anywhere! I don't know why there are so many negative reviews. It is obvious that people have very high hopes for TP holders. I don't. This does the job and is necessary to avoid disappointment as mega buns are now the new standard.

    Good product, just doesn't suit me.

    The product arrived as described but did not completely solve my problem. My toilet roll holder is recessed into the wall and the pivot did not extend far enough from the wall to freely move the new Kirkland brand toilet roll. This allowed for a pretty good move after removing some layers of TP. Longer extensions and a lip that keeps the extensions perpendicular to the wall would have made this product more useful for my needs.

    Not great, especially for the money!

    $12.25 for a cheap plastic toilet paper holder with little plastic handles attached is WAY too much for what you get. I have a young son who has trouble getting toilet paper when the roll is new so I bought this one thinking it would help him. It offers a little more clearance for the reel to spin, but it falls under the weight of the reel so the reel rests against the bottom of the dispenser and still doesn't spin. You have to get everything out and spin the reel very carefully, otherwise it…

    Doesn't solve FR in older homes

    That's a good idea, but it still doesn't work for the recessed toilet paper holder in our old house bathroom. I read a lot of reviews and thought it would work, but unfortunately it doesn't. It was easy to install and the width was perfect for our TP holder but didn't stick out far enough to accommodate today's modern TP reels. For reference, this is a brand new roll of regular Costco Kirkland toilet paper. As you can see in the photo it is still stuck in the case and we cannot dose it properly

    I like that the reel adjusts to size. The only problem is that when the paper is pulled, the roller rotates, which pulls on the holder, which pulls the roller in and tries to suck it into the holder body, and the roller gets stuck. I have to reverse load the reel like a madman. An alternative would be to have a ridge on this thing's arms to hook the holder and keep it vertical or something.     This extension is functional and allows you to adapt many toilet paper holders to use mega rolls. However, he has his own problems. The extension has no position to let the reel run freely. The reel is still constantly scratching part of the mount. I know other people who had this extension and didn't like it because of that.
