Couldn't be happier. You need to clean it every two weeks. At first I put more stones in it and in the end there were only about 10-20 left on the bottom. Plenty of room for our first pet fish, Luke.

The only tricky thing is making sure the rooster can't jump out of the top. Rooting plants is ideal for filling a feeding/breathing hole. It's just too big for me to be comfortable. Beautiful real glass is easy to clean. The LED is white (my picture looks purple). The shell stands on the base. Very nice simple 3-piece design. Keep slightly underfilled as shown in the picture. This allows the feed to swim freely and the bettas really need access to the surface to breathe.

I bought this for a betta that my daughter "won" at a party. Not knowing how healthy he was I didn't want to buy the huge tank we had for our former bettas. It served the purpose of making the living space feel better than the plastic container it came in. It seems to be thriving. Over time we will need to move to a more spacious room.
