doesn't fit sewing bobbin

Too loose, thread won't bounce once wound up, may be fine for large commercial bobbins, but for normal size - which is 99.99% of what I have - it fits t hold the thread. Revain got it right and that's why I buy from them so often!

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Not sure

Easy for an inexperienced user

I have not had any experience with this type of product before, but I am satisfied with my experience with this network. It is soft, easy to cut and wind on spools. Feels very loose but snags on the spool and stays in place when moved. The handle doesn't feel very strong, but I don't think it needs to be very tight for the thread to wrap around.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Wouldn't buy again

I bought a lot of thread nets a few years ago and they were so good. Straight with no creases and fits my small 1000m spools, but also flared for my 5000m cones of embroidery thread. The net I received from this seller was chunky, twisted and very large, only fitting my 5000 meter cones. I have to try and find some that will fit my 1000m spools. Very disappointed with this product.

Ideal when installed correctly on the cone.

I use a lot of yarn so I order big spools and bobbins. It's handy to leave the mesh on the spools/cones I'm not using to keep them from unwinding. Other reviewers have stated that they have issues with line tangling when pulled off the spool. Here's a tip: Cut the mesh to the height of the spool plus 50%, place one end on the bottom of the spool, pull the other end of the mesh over the spool, leaving the top 1/4 inch of the spool open . Putting the spool on the spindle fixes the mesh in the…

Secure hold, especially with smaller coils.

To deal with the long net, I placed a coiled spool of tubing net in a plastic food storage container and fed the net through a hole cut in the lid. So I pulled out and cut off the desired length. Tip: For yarn cones and larger spools, I measure the length on the spool plus the depth at the bottom, then sew and gather the mesh tightly 1/2 inch from the bottom. Turn the netting over and place the shirred end inside the cone (Photo 2). When the bobbin is placed on the sewing machine spindle, the…

This Is THE ONE or Industrial Coils 1/2lb and 1lb

I am very happy with this purchase. This will prevent my yarn from untangling and getting under the yarn stand. It works great and I appreciate the cut style for the size it comes in. That way I can cut it long enough to put under the spool. It is suitable for both 1/2lb and 1lb industrial sewing spools. I tried another brand and it was very tight. Another brand messed up the tension on my sewing machine. This brand does not affect the tension of the sewing machine. This grade is a soft/pliable

CONTROL DECISIONS!

So cool! I use cone coils (mostly polyester or #69 nylon). Advantages: + I now have my thread spools under control. Tails no longer wag tangled. + When using a larger thread spool (#69 polyester), it sometimes slipped down and got tangled at the bottom of the thread spool or spool pin. You know what jerks you get from time to time? This coil mesh eliminates that problem. + Not too tight, the thread easily winds up with the stitch on the cones. + VERY ECONOMICAL !Disadvantages: - Not a big…

Absolutely soft, high-quality braided thread!

I am very happy with my purchase! I researched a lot of nets before purchasing as I know some nets are much stiffer than the higher quality ones that came with my sergers. This is a perfectly soft, fine mesh that looks very high quality! While it has some negative reviews, I believe those reviewers expected it to be suitable for smaller sewing machine threads. For those who want net for overlock cones, wool nylon or spools 1000 yards or longer, this is the net! This is a super soft, fine mesh…
