Description of High-Quality Throttle Body: Compatible with Vol-vo 00-10 S60, 99-06 S80 MK1, 06-16 S80 MK2, 96-00 V70, 01-07 V70 MK2, 14-16 XC90 MK2 # 8677867 30711554 028075013

Part Number: 8677658, 8677867, 30711554 , 0 280 750 13, 028075013. The throttle body regulates the appropriate amount of airflow into the engine, which is critical for the mixing of fuel and air in the engine. When the throttle body is damaged, it will not work properly. If it remains off, your engine will not receive air and will not start. When the throttle is stuck in the open position, your vehicle will receive too much air and leave it in a high altitude or fluctuating idling state. The throttle body is a valve that controls the rate of engine intake. By changing the size of the throttle, the cross-sectional area through the intake passage is changed, the engine's operating conditions are controlled, and the engine load is detected by the throttle position sensor. If you encounter an engine stall and cannot start, the electronic throttle warning light is on, hesitation or power surge when accelerating, it may be a problem with the vehicle's throttle body. The throttle body is suitable for 2003-2004 Vol-vo C70 All Models; 2002-2009 Vol-vo S60 Turbocharged Models; 2002-2006 Vol-vo S80 All Models; 2002-2007 Vol-vo V70 Turbocharged Models; 2003-2007 Vol-vo XC70 All Models; 2003-2004 Vol-vo XC90 All Models; 2005 Vol-vo XC90 2.9L Models; 2005-2006 Vol-vo XC90 2.5L Models. Our products have excellent quality and can be a perfect replacement for your original parts, with better materials, lower prices and longer service life.

Better than expected. Recommended for Volvo XC70.

Perfect for my 2004 Volvo XC70. It was identical to the original part. I was very skeptical considering it was 1/4 the price of other regular replacement throttle bodies but thought I'd give it a try anyway. You should perform the relearn process by turning the key to the "Accessories" position, waiting 2 minutes, then turning off the car and then starting it. I've had it for a few months now and it works fine. I would recommend it.

Pros
  • Great overall performance

Worked less than a week. I do not recommend.

My mechanic installed the part and it looked and fit like the original check engine light had gone out and worked fine for three days. Then everything went south. First, the idle speed deteriorated, then it began to poorly start and stall. When I managed to warm up the engine it worked fine. Although not very. I ended up taking this car to Honda. You performed a smoke test for a vacuum leak. Smoke was coming out of the throttle body in two places! No other leaks were found. Bad throttle body…

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Tight manual

Do not buy do not disturb

I bought a 2004 Honda Accord I just wanted to get the cruise control working. Has worked fine for a few months. Then I got code P0122, throttle position sensor. First I was able to reset the check engine and it worked fine. But in the end it didn't work. The mechanic said the sensor can be replaced. But I just reinstalled the old throttle body and everything is fine now. I contacted their support team and they said their mechanic could tell my mechanic how to fix it. he already knew how to fix…

WORKS 2003 HONDA ACCORD

My Accord 03 idled poorly (RPM up and down), I bought an idle air control valve from carparts.com ($26), installed it ($50) and cleaned the throttle body. the problem didn't go away. I saw on Amazon that the whole throttle body assembly was cheap ($63), I decided to give it a try and after installing it ($100) the problem went away. It's been 2 months and it's still working perfectly. Now the stock throttle body is $800 which is probably more than my car is worth. I don't expect it to last 5…

Throttle works great - almost perfect, but requires very little tuning

Good: Wow, I'll admit it. I was expecting a worse product than this but it is top notch. All necessary sensors were connected and working as expected. While some have argued that some sort of "retraining" procedure needs to be done prior to installation, this worked great on the first run. Also my COME WITH A SEAL. Small problem: I have a 2003 Honda Element. The small metal bracket, held in place with a single screw, was quite different from that of the old throttle body and was nowhere near…

Runs well, even with minor differences

My Element EX AWD '03 with manual transmission had covered over 420,000 km in Spring 2020 when the engine started making a rattling noise. I stopped riding it until I could deal with it. By the fall (I'm a PROcrastinator) when the noisy things were taken care of, the idle air control valve was stuck and the engine revved from idle at 1-2,000 rpm to 3000 rpm. I could NOT remove the bolts from the IAC, to clean it. Both were sheared off after weeks of kroil/heat/bumps etc. New OEM 16400PZDA11…

Do not do that! to fuel system

Three problems arose after my mechanic installed a throttle body on my Honda 05 Element:1. Check the engine light with code P1121, TPS output low. It turns out that the throttle position sensor (TPS) is adjustable, and once installed, the TPS needs to be adjusted so that the output voltage is 0.5 volts at idle. I checked and found that my TPS read 0.25 volts at idle, so it looks like my mechanic didn't bother to adjust the TPS after installing the throttle body. But it's pretty easy to set up…
