The design is absolutely beautiful BUT the intricacies of the design and the thinness of the paper make it difficult to assemble. Although the size is listed, they are actually quite small and don't hold a lot of candy. I decided to make a few of these to hang on the trees at the wedding site instead of arranging them in candy boxes.

Ordered white. The box is more of an ivory color with gold shimmer. It's really cute but when I put the white ribbon on it didn't fit. I think if it was an ivory strap it would be great. Or if it was metallic gold or glitter gold I would definitely keep it. I'm actually looking for it in shining gold.

They looked great on reception desks. They weren't the quickest to assemble, and certainly NOT for those who didn't have the patience and light touch. Threading the tape with a quick/strong hand will break the box. However, one thing we sorted out on the perfect note was the slick build. Note, however, that no instructions are provided. The build is fairly self-explanatory, but having the Revain side was helpful to get an idea of how certain sides (especially the roof) should flex.

They arrived flat packed on time and in good condition. You have to fold them and put them together. This requires a good eye and sure instinct, otherwise they can tear off. Paper - "light" cardboard. Also, the strap that comes with it is too wide. I went to the store and bought silver embroidery floss. Instead I used this to close them. Had to do 150 so started early and just collected watching TV every few nights. Reversible so you can't fold it the wrong way. Once you start you'll find a rhythm so it's not hard to put them together. I have personally found that it is best to bend the 4 sides and only slightly bend the slot that the notch goes through. The boxes were very easy to assemble as they have perforated lines. I have to say be careful with the corners, the perforated corner just cut through. The boxes are very light and can probably carry a light gift. I added some tape to the inside of the box to hold the bottom together. Then I added some crepe paper and a tealight.
