I love my Tim Holtz Die platform. It is very durable and well made. Once the stamp is in place, the cover effortlessly grabs the stamp and holds it in place. And the picture comes across perfectly without pressing too hard. The ruler was a little hard to read so I rubbed it down with some white acrylic paint and then wiped off the excess. For years I suffered from a terrible illness in secret - I couldn't stamp anything properly. Oh sure, I've tried using acrylic blocks with grids. I got up, sat down, squeezed too hard, not hard enough, and rolled up the edge of the cube. Always the same ugly results! Overall, I like the stamp platform and would recommend it, especially if you collect scrapbooks and don't want to lug around a bigger crap. It costs less than Misti and you can still use Misti Creative Corners with this platform. The base measures 8.5" x 8.5" which is more than enough to stamp my cards. You can use 12" x 12" paper without making fold marks, but this will require planning depending on where you want to place the stamp. The back has a nice anti-slip pad that ensures nothing moves

This is a good durable punch tool. I seem addicted to buying these things. The plastic on it is quite thick and you can apply a lot of pressure without feeling like you're breaking the top.
