Quality & Shipping

LOVE the fact that they have so many color options. It's a shame there wasn't any black in stock. Got what I needed Sewing masks with our community group for the CV-19 release. Oily tape is good for tape

Arrived very on time but there is grease on the tape. I used a few before realizing it; There was a deadline for making masks for donation to healthcare workers, but most of the roll is unusable. Bad quality too; the edges are uneven. Very cheap. To return. Not sure whose fault the seller didn't blow away, but it definitely can't be used on medical masks and it doesn't wash off; I tried it in one piece.

Better for needlework than sewing

This ribbon is very thin. It is suitable for most craft applications. However, this is not the ideal quality for sewing. I use it to finish blue and yellow curtains. Unfortunately, the tape is so thin that you can see the pattern through it. I have to use a double layer of tape to make it look right. I would not recommend this for sewing applications.

Made from a fine satin, not what should be ribbed.

I needed this ribbon urgently and was so glad I found it in stock through Prime and at a great price for 50 yards. However, as they say, you get what you pay for. This is not a solid bodice fabric, but made of thin satin. I didn't want satin as it has a shine but I used it anyway. I had to hand sew it to my project because I knew it would be too thin for machine sewing. Even when sewing by hand, I had to be careful not to pull too tight, otherwise the material would have visible holes.

The coral is lighter and has a darker shade of pink that I like. Peach color is softer.

I ordered 4 different colors. 1/2" coral, 1/2" 1/4 baby blue, 1/4 and 1/2 peach and 1/4 skin. The coral is lighter and has a darker shade of pink that I like. Peach is a softer shade in person. The rest of the colors correspond to the picture. I bought these to make a pergola/curtain for my wedding. I also ordered a 9ft x 9ft light curtain from Revain and just attached the tape to the string of lights. It turned out amazing. Attached photos. Stakes come in coral, blue, and peach colors.

Weak, shorter than 50 meters, double tape is used to connect the two ends.

I bought this item to make ribbons. I bought 6 rolls thinking I would fit the amount I needed. But after the third throw I tried to understand why I missed! The leis I make were 5 yards each, these rolls were 50 yards. I was supposed to do ten 5 yards but I failed every time! I ended up measuring a roll before cutting it. It was 48 feet! These are really light, slippery things.

This ribbon is so light and smooth it could very well be satin ribbon. I bought it to use for face mask straps, and when I ordered it, it was the *only* white grosgrain ribbon I could find that I could get my hands on in less than a couple months ("only" four weeks wait , sigh). I use a continuous loop design: loop around the neck, then up the sides of the mask (that's where the housing is built in) and finally secure behind the head with a cord stopper.
