Good FM quality! Suitable for oils and liquids

Factory on the back of the new GTO generation. The original modifier started to wear out and the rear end started dragging in tight corners. A fresh fluid change solved the problem!

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Best manufacturer by far

The best gear oil money can buy. I have used all other brands. Royal Purple, Amsoil, whatever. None of them delivered the quietest, smoothest, most uninterrupted performance, no matter how aggressively you drive. I'm an engineer and have worked in NASCAR and F1. Almost all use Torco in differentials. Believe me

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Empty

I had recently installed Kaaz 2way LSD (along with.

I had recently installed Kaaz 2way LSD (along with their liquid) in my car after the stock torsion bar broke. The noise was unbearable for a road car, especially in slow corners. This additive along with Torco 85w-140 Diff-Fluid completely eliminated the hiss of a 2 way Kaaz LSD in my 94 Supra!

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Fixed Pontiac GTO rear diff noise

This fixed a rear diff rattle on my 2004 Pontiac GTO when cornering at low speed. Remarkable fact about my GTO: It had 140,000 miles on it when I poured this and Torco RGO gear oil in the diff, after trying Mobil One and TransX synthetic oil for 5,000 miles with minimal (though noticeable) reduction in rattle. So even if you have a noise on an old (and generally original) GTO diff, how do I treat it?

Pros
  • High support and durability ratings from testers
Cons
  • Not the best

Good stuff on the engine and oil

The rear diff was noisy on my 04 gto so I changed the diff fluid to Torco 85-140 and added 2 ounces of that stuff and the diff stopped, Making sounds I am happy with this product. Update: After stepping on it a day, the noise is back, so I don't know…

Pros
  • A few competitors
Cons
  • Low repairability

I saved over $1,000!

Saved me over $1000 on a new rear diff! I bought a 2004 GTO with a six speed manual transmission and an LSD rear diff. After installing new tires, I noticed a rattle in the rear differential after a long drive. I changed the fluid to Torco 85/145 racing grease and added this friction modifier. He took care of the noise! 95% better. I would still hear intermittent noises here and there but NOTHING like it was. yes, just in case I drove it for a month then changed the fluid again with Racing Gear

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
