Sturdy and offers good protection for my new saddle

I like that it covers the saddle well and is very durable. The house cat who liked to sneak into the equipment room and lay on my saddle doesn't like this stuff which is an added plus!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine

Beautiful cover - easy to use

To cover a western saddle. I drive most days. After 3 months of use, the seam in the horn area came undone. Secured and reinforced with good old duct tape. Otherwise it looks good and covers the saddle well. I have the old one on a 16" saddle and the new one on a 14" trail saddle. Would buy again.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Available in white only

Too big for my saddle

The saddle cover is strong and well made, but it's too big for my saddle. My saddle is contoured and hornless. The only elastic I can use is for the wings. Stirrup pockets are too small. I will keep the saddle cover as it is very durable and I have yet to find a cover that fits my type of western saddle.

Lovely case ideal for our West Australian saddle

I have two of these in a brown tooling. One for a regular western saddle, which I'll talk about later when I try it. The second is for the Australian western saddle. So I knew it definitely wouldn't fit due to the Australian saddle shape. But my saddle has a western hybrid style horn and long stirrups. Although I'm very happy. It is very attractive and appears to be of good thickness. I wish it was balanced. The Australian saddle appears to be dust free, which is what we wanted.

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Very nice horse from Revain!

I ordered 3 of these in different colors. These saddlebags exceeded my expectations as the price was very reasonable. The fabric is durable nylon, not flimsy at all. I wear them over the saddles that I keep in the trailer because it can get pretty dusty when I'm out on dirt roads. They match the saddles very well and were easy to put on once I figured out where the elastic straps were hanging. The stirrups fit into an internal pocket for added protection and a secure fit. I recommend this item…

Just what I needed for horses

The saddle cover is just what I need to protect my saddle in the summer when we store it in the stable. We have expensive quilted covers but they don't "breathe" and we've had mold problems. This cover is hard-wearing and yet the saddle can dry out underneath. It protects against dust, cats and other critters that might decide to use the saddle as a perch. It's easy to put on and I like that the stirrups fit in a pocket and stay in place even if you move them from one place to another. I'm…

Pros
  • Little competition
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Good case for the price.

The cover is made of thick material and is large enough to cover a rope saddle. Elastic straps at each corner help keep it in place, and the stirrup covers have pockets big enough for my saddle's large stirrups. The pocket that fits over the horn is a bit tight for a rope horn, but still fits. It does a good job of keeping my saddle clean in the stable. I have ordered 2 more for a Barrel saddle and an Australian Trail saddle. They're fully enclosed, but since both saddles have smaller and more…

Tough 1 Heavy Nylon Saddle Cover protects your western saddle and mudguards!

JT International Inc 1 Denier Nylon Saddlebag was shipped on time but the order was not quite correct. I ordered three in total, two should be the same color and the third should be camouflage. I have three in the same color. I didn't send one back for an exchange because I needed all three for an upcoming family trip. The overall fit, quality and performance are average ratings - our saddles stayed dry in a short heavy rain, matched our saddles and gaiters and looked good on the rack. And the…

Holds dust but not as much as I expected.

This is the first western bag I bought. I was expecting a more stretchy, form fitting, fully enclosed saddle pad, like my English saddle pads over the years. it is not, but it will protect from dust. Basically I got it for this purpose and so I could put my sweaty/hairy used saddle pad on the saddle without getting the saddle dirty. For this purpose it works. For the price it's ok. If it was more expensive I would return it. Not intended for travel as it only sits on the saddle, with small…
