Fits perfectly. To change shoes you need a sleeve so that it does not move. Purchase a 5/8 jack at your local hardware store and strip off part of it.

Much better than stock, installs in about 2 milliseconds. Very easy. Shifting has become much better, it feels good in the hand and feels like its own. Should have been at the Tacoma! Really very satisfied.

Fits perfectly on my 2018 TRD Offroad MT Tacoma. To hold the boot in place I used a 5/8 rubber cuff. A lock nut is used to secure the grip and align the shift pattern. It fits perfectly and I am very happy with it. Very comfortable in the hand.

I got this to replace a worn shift knob on my 2015 Tacoma. Installation was easy; If you can screw in a light bulb, you can install this knob. Shifting feels a little better with that big knob and I like the look. There is nothing to wear out and should last longer than a truck. This should be the standard shift knob on all mechanical Toyotas.

I'm so angry I waited so long to buy. The standard was not only worn out but disgusting. This TRD pen is worth every dollar. Perfect switching feel. I wish it was a bit heavier, but still it's an absolutely way better upgrade than stock or what came on it because I'm not the original owner of this truck. But now I love switching even more.

I resisted it for over 3 years. That's pampering. I just like it more than the faux leather grip that came with the truck. Even if someone else is driving the truck, the shift pattern is more visible. It's a weird (and bad) shift pattern that puts reverse almost first, so I think the other driver is less likely to make an annoyed mistake and damage my truck.

I bought this for my 2005 Tacoma because the original leather grip was worn and falling apart, I just wanted something nice and legible. I wasn't expecting it to change the shift feel, but it did - and I love it! Grip because I can wrap my arm all the way around it. Even with greasy hands, I always grab hold of it. It really makes shifting easier and looks cool.

All mechanical Toyotas of recent years have the same thread pattern. I installed this on my 2017 Corolla SE with no problems. It doesn't wobble or twist. The only thing I did was add two washers and fasten them tightly so they stay in the desired position horizontally (so the gear pattern isn't skewed). I have attached a photo to this review.
