Awesome switch, fits switch

This is enterprise-class hardware at a great price. Easy to set up/configure and update. Works like a charm for my Omada UAPs and works great as a master switch for a small home network. Finding updated firmware on the TP-Link support site was SUPER easy and no problem with updates. Get one!

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • I'll keep quiet

Best value for money for a large professional POE switch.

Good value for money. Even tests cables. Has a command line interface! The web interface works fine but requires learning, I'm doing Poe, a few VLANs and LACP connections. Has 3 fans. calm. If you don't want to take full advantage of the Unifis integration features, save your money and get this switch instead of the ubiquiti Poe switch.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Great value for money

was planning to buy an Ubuquiti but decided to try this switch and I'm glad I did! It works surprisingly well, has all the configuration options I need, and works 100% error-free for less than half the price of the competition.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • So far so good

Excellent switch and price

Used as a replacement for an older Cisco switch with multiple failed ports. The price was amazing and this is a reliable, high-performance 48-port, 384W POE switch. Used for 30 Open Mesh APs and about 6 other devices. Everything works perfectly. You just had to change the default subnet and the TP-Link website showed you how to do it in minutes. Be sure to click "Save" after changing any settings so they are not lost in the event of a power failure. Would buy again!

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in black only

Phone Server Rack on Switches

We had to order (4) 48-port switches for our phone system. They are excellent for POE power delivery for small to medium sized devices. These are working great at the moment and we hope that the POE ports don't gradually give up.

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Failed after a year

This unit worked great to power 42 POE security cameras but failed after a year or should I say all but three of the POE connectors failed. It's under warranty but so far I've waited three weeks for a replacement even though I opted for the expedited replacement method and paid extra for it. In the meantime I had to buy another POE switch as I can't turn off the security cameras.

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Some cons
