real space survival blanket

I've slept on the ocean beaches in Washington a few times with just this blanket and in the winter it works as advertised, it's not the best fit but it works which is why it does It's a so-called ambulance blanket will help, if you're buying for your car, make sure you get at least one that fits your body length, if not double, so you can tuck it in and attach it to your legs and head for maximum Achieve heat if you know how to use it. A word for those who have only used flimsy disposable space

Pros
  • Excellent construction
Cons
  • Good but not great

Tough in the Safety and Survival category

Fifty years ago my pastor donned the space blanket while camping in the Smoky Mountains. Saving over a pound was wise. It warmed him. I was impressed. I tried it myself when I was in Turkey about 35 years ago and it kept me warm too. When I personally tested it, I found it too fragile, and I sounded like I was in a bag of chips every time I moved even a little bit. I ordered this one, it's as sturdy as a tarp and keeps me warm. I folded and creased it enough to realize it's a lot stronger than…

Two came back with defects in a row - Unfused Mylar

EDIT: The replacement came with more defects than the first. Seller if you can guarantee a working product at some point in the future I would be happy to buy a couple of these. But not with this defect! First Review: The good news is that I really like this product EXCEPT for the fact that there is a stripe along its entire length where the mylar is not connected to other layers (my foot is pointing towards the picture) as if the The manufacturer had a fusible element that didn't work on the…

but you can use it for any outdoor activities like hiking, camping

This emergency blanket measures 59 x 83 inches and weighs 1.4 pounds, which is definitely light and compact. This training blanket consists of 4 layers of PE, polyester mesh and Mylar and is both waterproof and windproof and heat-retaining. any outdoor activities like hiking, camping, hunting, fishing, skiing etc. as this blanket can be used to prevent overheating or hypothermia. Use them as a raincoat, tent, or pumpkin cover. OR you can use them as an inner lining in your sleeping bag if you…

Worth buying at Camping & Hiking

I keep a lot of rescue gear in my garage, car and bug bag for those "just in case" scenarios . I bought it again as a gift for my friend who loves wildlife as much as I do. I bought 11 last time. It's a really versatile item, I mean you can't just use it for emergencies e.g. B. to keep warm when camping, to create an impromptu shelter in an emergency, or to put it under a tent or sleeping bag, but also as a versatile tarp for everyday use. As for me, I always run it on the windshield to reflect

Best I've found

I have been traveling the mountains and deserts of the western United States for over 45 years. I worked as a survival instructor and backcountry guide for 18 of those years. This is the best thermal blanket and tarp combo I have found so far. However, you must use your common sense and do not expect magic from him or any other cosmic blanket. Neither of them will be a "self-contained" sleeping bag that will keep you warm even when it gets a little chilly. Also, most of them are NOT breathing…

Well made and works great

I first bought two of these for a rather unusual purpose. My dogs live on our terrace in the entrance area. They have Kane heating pads in their cage in winter (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FW1S3GU/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_D54H9H0YFBSZ6W7WJ351?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) but I usually cover them with a strong tarp (https:// www.amazon.com/dp/B082P75Q6R/ref=cm_sw_em_r_mt_dp_2SWZ32346QHR2ATMGRTR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 ), and the drawers are always kept at a very comfortable temperature. I realized that…
