Vantage Point CGUPM06 S Universal Projector Review

I bought this because it was called 'universal' but it wasn't quite universal. I have a small Optoma projector (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002DUCKNK/ref=oss_product) with only 3 screw holes on the bottom. I couldn't find a way to install my projector and had to return the item. I thought it would be a great product if it matched your car.

This mount arrived at my home just a few days after ordering and was packaged very well. I use it for my Epson PowerLite S5 in my home theater. It's very durable and feels like my projector is securely mounted to the ceiling. Only criticism of the mount is that the included ceiling mount screws were too big for my ceiling, but we found alternative screws so no star deduction for that. I used this to mount an Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8350 Projector (V11H373120) to the ceiling and it worked great! The universal mounts allowed me to align with the holes on my Epson. The bracket is very strong and attached to the beam in the ceiling. Once the projector was hung it was easy to adjust right/left/up/down to center the image on my screen. I had no problems!

This worked as requested but required a visit to the hardware store as the pack contained the wrong ceiling bracket screws. It works now, but I was a little annoyed that all the necessary components for installation were missing right in the box.

Just installed a few days ago. The quality and workmanship of the product is class "A", the installation was not difficult either. It can be adjusted to any angle and position you want. Very happy with this product.

This is one of the nicest projector mounts I've seen. It is very adaptable and the quality of the materials and construction is very good. I have looked at some cheaper mounts but found that there are people who need to modify the cheaper mounts to get them to work properly. I wanted a mount that didn't require a Dremel or skill. This vantage point mount was fairly easy to assemble, was low to the ceiling and came with the necessary wrench. I was spending months looking for an affordable ceiling mount for my projector when I stumbled across this find.
