Vehicle OCD Organizer 2005 2015 2016 2019 Review

This product was advertised as fitting over or along the edge of a hole in my armrest for my 2015 Toyota Tacoma. Well it's a joke. It's half the size it should be, so it's useless. I sit in the office and collect dust. False advertising.

I purchased this tray for my 2013 Tacoma Double Cab. The tongue that fits under the hinge rubs slightly when opening/closing the console lid. The lid won't pop open if you open it while the tray is in place, which annoys me. The rest of the product is well made. And it's nice to have extra, easily accessible storage.

Perfect fit for 3rd generation Tacomas. I needed a bit of organization on my console but still had enough room for larger items underneath, like a box of tissues. This is perfect for storing sunglasses with free space. I recommend 10/10. I just wish there was some rubber on the contact lip - it slides towards the front of my console.

Fits Toyota Tacoma 2013. As others have said it's quite expensive for a simple molded piece of plastic. The bottom of the tray has a thin rubber coating to prevent small parts from slipping. I also currently have the Grid-It mod installed which doesn't work well with this tray. You CAN install both, but then it's difficult to take full advantage of either one.

This is a solution to easily access and remove small things from the black hole in the center console. The rubber insert on the bottom feels nice. Not flimsy and feels high quality. Fits perfectly on my 2015 Toyota Tacoma and does not interfere with opening or closing the lid. Minus one star because it's expensive for what is essentially a small plastic bowl.

There are many reviews on this product stating that it does not fit or work with their Tacoma. I have tried this product on both the 2nd Gen (2013) and 3rd Gen (2018) Tacoma and it works great on both. On the 2nd generation Tacoma, you must slide one end of the tray under the center console hinge to allow the tray to fall. I also thought it didn't fit (user error!). I placed the tray passenger side down, then lifted it up to set it on the edge. Unfortunately that doesn't work - you have to insert the tray so it sits on the passenger side console ledge and then lower the driver side down onto the top of the console. Pay special attention to the 5th photo below in the description. I added a photo with a yellow arrow showing the lip. Happy with purchase and design.

I love this tray for accessories for my Tacoma 2013 . Once you get a feel for how it should be installed, it's easy. I like to keep my pens, pocket knives and other things in there and leave the bottom for CDs etc. Love it. It doesn't slide back and forth that much, but it's definitely not a deal breaker for me. I would buy again if needed. (I purchased this item and this is an unbiased and unmotivated review.)

There have been a number of reviews that the tray doesn't fit and needs an organizer underneath to sit on. I haven't found this to apply to Gen 2 Tacomas. I have a 2011 Tacoma and the tray straddles the console and sits on top of the console as advertised. However, please note that there is a right way and a wrong way to install the tray.
