Torn apart after 5 weeks of light to moderate use. $70 value

Purchased on June 4th, 2018. It's July 9th, 2018 (that's just over 30 days) and you now have a hole in your left big toe. I contacted customer service and they said the 90 day warranty only covers manufacturing defects and not breakages. Remember I use them for running about 2 times a week for about 20 minutes. You've probably worked less than 5 hours and already snapped, and the manufacturer doesn't see this as a defect. So many people gave 5 stars so I did NOT expect them to break with such…

They work great but a hole in the sole every 6 months

This will be my 3rd pair of CSR in about 1.5 years. After 6 months I have a hole in my toe quite often. My use: weightlifting 5 days a week. Jog 1-2 miles 3-6 times per week. Walk 1 km 4-7 times a week. So very heavy use. The good ones: They seemed to cure my plantar fasciitis, which I contracted while walking across Europe in boots. When I switch to running in Nike Free shoes, they feel insanely heavy. Maybe placebo, but I feel like I can run faster in my vibrams (when doing HIIT). Cons: The…

Very cool. You are important!

Well I've seen these shoes worn by different people several times and I've always been very fascinated by them. it's cold 9-10 months out of the year and my joints are always talking to me; I recently came across an audio book called The Primal Blueprint. Of course, I've always been a kind of minimalist and naturalist. So this book really intrigued me! While listening to the book, she covered a section called "Barefoot Life" which mainly talked about how primitive people didn't have shoes and…

Good but original could be better

I would like to start by saying I have had eleven pairs of VFFs since 2011. This may sound like a fanatic, but it really isn't. . I've bought several models and used them for everything from water sports to hiking and running. Some things I liked very much, some not so much. One of my favorite models was the original KSO. This is perhaps the most eclectic show they've ever done. I didn't come across the later, more complex styles. When KSO EVO came out, I decided to give it a try. EVO isn't…

Treat yourself to the decisive advantage on Leg Day!

I bought these shoes mainly for my feet at the gym. I didn't feel very stable in my tennis shoes, and the few times I tried barefoot squats and deadlifts, my form improved. These pieces completely mimic the feel of bare feet and have excellent traction on every surface you encounter at the gym. My squat technique has improved dramatically and so has the weight I can repeat because I engage more muscles doing them barefoot. At first I only wore them to the gym 4-5 times a week, but over time…

I don't regret this purchase one bit.

A big fan of this. They'll destroy your calves the first few times, so get back to your normal run. I run 4 miles in it 3 times a week. However, be vigilant. After 20+ years of running, when Yoru's heel hits the ground first, it takes a little time to retrain. The only time I've ever had knee pain was in the beginning when I got tired and went back to my old running style. With sneakers, the padding on the shoe cushions the first heel strike until it wears off and you need new shoes. Anyway…

Great shoes! Just don't expect them to last long!

Let me start by saying that the KSO EVO is a great shoe. The upper is light and super breathable, which makes them very comfortable to wear compared to, for example, the V-Train. and I'm sure I've forgotten a few others, they seem to be a major evolution in the product line. BUT for the price I can't recommend them. I totally understand the "story" of this FiveFingers line, but the outsole is TOO THIN and not what you want, just too thin to withstand everyday use. I have used these shoes…

these fit me "40 EU/8.0-8.5 M US "

So they just arrived in the mail an hour ago, after reading all the reviews I was a little concerned that they might be too small. I usually wear shoes 8-8.5, I chose "40 EU / 8.0-8.5 M US". When I tried to put them on I thought at first they might be too small but once I got my toes in the holes they fitted perfectly, I put them on when we talked at the office to break them in. I've used them hiking or whatever but now they fit and feel good. I'll update my review once I've actually used it a…

Wrong sizes

Please note the size listed is wrong. I bought 10.5 - 11 and you can see in my photos they are smaller. I have new Wirbrams lying next to old ones of the same size, but the new ones are noticeably smaller. I have another photo of them next to my size 11 sneakers - big difference. For drop off, you have to pay an additional $6 for one pickup as opposed to regular pickups. USPS is free.

Great sandals

Just what the doctor ordered. I already have earth shoes and my running doctor friend told me that the arthritis in my knee would go away with these minimalist running shoes. I didn't believe it. You might feel barefoot and flex your toes in other earthy boots, but these truly feel barefoot. It took her quite a while to get used to the feel of something between her toes. It's similar to walking on wet sand, like on the beach. I feel almost everything. So you can squeeze the sole on the stone…
