Great continuous integration tool and good support too

The ability for me as developer to just write my code without worrying about building it is great! We are able to run tests against our application in less than 5 minutes with only 2 clicks of a button. I wish we could have more control over some things such as how often these builds occur. Sometimes it takes longer than expected when you want to make changes that can be reflected in your next build. This isn't always bad though because sometimes you need time between builds to figure out…

Pros
  • I like that my code is automatically built without having to worry about it
Cons
  • I do wish it was a little more customizable, it seems to be limited in what we can do compared to other build systems

Very useful tool for automating the software development lifecycle.

I like that it is very easy to use for both experienced users as well as beginners. It has helped me automate my CI/CD pipeline along with code quality checks. The UI can be improved at times but nothing majorly. If you are looking into building your own software solution then this tool will definitely help you out in automating all of the tasks involved. Automation of our entire development life cycle from testing to deployment using Jenkins. We have also been able to improve our code quality

Pros
  • Easy setup
  • Lots options available when configuring
  • Has good documentation online.
  • Can configure everything locally before pushing changes up live environment, hence ensuring better security
Cons
  • Not much customization option possible due limitations built within
  • No support forum or community portal

DOCKER FABRIC - A SINGLE PLACE FOR DEV AND OPERATION

It is very easy for me as developer who has no idea about CI/CD concept but only know how my code looks like when I open it in VS Code (I use VSCode). The best thing with this solution was that we don't need any separate tool or plugin since everything seems integrated perfectly well together;) If you are using some other IDE which doesn’t have native support of Docker then there might be issues so make sure your docker client version supports all required features before proceed further…

Pros
  • No dependencies to install
  • Easy usage.
  • Integration between tools such vsc, code etc.,
  • Native integration into visual studio 2018 / 2019 without adding extra extension
Cons
  • None

Visual Build allows me keep up-to date project statuses

It's very easy to learn and use as is has all of our requirements for different CI tools (we have multiple). The GUI can be confusing at times but that only because we are new to this tool. As long as you understand how it works then there really isn't much to dislike about this product in my opinion! I highly recommend using visual build. We used Jenkins previously when managing our infrastructure; however, after running into issues with scaling out nodes as well as not being able to integrate

Pros
  • They do their best too make sure every feature meets expectations before releasing those features publicly
Cons
  • Zero
